Raluchi Joseph Uzokwe is an eleven-year-old who was born in Nigeria, Aba. One of his five siblings is the author of The Protectors of Emperia. Raluchi resides with his family in Oak Park, Illinois, where he continues to pursue his passion for writing. This is his second Lee Harbor book.

You guys go. I will make a protective charm over you. Remember, I can only hold the charm as long as I can concentrate, so I lose my concentration. It is up to you guys to defend yourselves.
Lee said.
No! Don’t do it! Don’t sacrifice yourself for us.
cried Samantha. A few drops of tears fell out of her eyes.
Go on. I will hold the barriers,
said Lee stroking Samantha’s hair. Then he ushered them out. He imagined saying goodbye to all of his good old friends and his recent friends. A single tear fell out of his eye. But this was not the time to cry. He focused on making the shield. The last thing he remembered was the debris coming in even harder and his friends making it safely outside before the whole castle collapsed.
Lee didn’t know what hit him. He opened his eyes. He blinked once, twice, three times. It looked like he was in a hospital room. How could it be? Lee never got sick. He sat up abruptly; a sharp bolt of pain shot up his head. The pain was so severe that his vision blurred. Lee used the rest of his strength to force open his eyes again. As he did, his eyes cleared, and his vision was focused too. Lee, now aware of the pain that had just hit him, carefully and steadily slowly sat up in the bed. Wow! He was in a hospital room. It looked like the hospital room in the magic school Firelight ACADEMY, but that couldn’t be correct. Lee didn’t remember anything that had happened in the past. But
