()
About this ebook
Going somewhere? We are all going somewhere on the road of life. There are many broad paths that lead to nowhere. Most end up in a place called "death", "Hell", and the "devil". But there is also one narrow path that leads to "eternal life", "Heaven", and "God". This path is the "Road to Victory". Once we travel down this road, we need a guide that will get us to our destination. And that's what this book, The Road to Victory, is about: How to overcome spiritual warfare and receive blessings in Christ. His main author website is www.andynakagawa.com

About The Author
A NOTE TO THE READER
This book is about how to overcome spiritual warfare and receive blessings in Christ. I believe there are hindrances to receiving benefits in Christ. These hindrances are the result of our sinfulness. Where do we get our sinful thoughts and desires? They come from the devil and our sinful nature. There is a war in our minds: a war between our sinful nature and our born-again nature. Our sinful nature wants to hear the voice of the devil, whereas our born-again life wants to hear God’s voice.
There are hundreds, if not thousands, of thoughts going on in our minds throughout the day. They can be good thoughts or evil thoughts. We decide which of these thoughts that we must follow through our minds: the evil thoughts from the devil or good ideas from God.
Our goal as born-again Christians is to listen to our born-again nature and listen to God and His Word. That is the purpose of this book: To help you, the reader, to live victoriously and receive God’s blessings from the born-again nature by listening and following God’s voice.
In this book, we will be discussing four key elements on our road to victory:
1.) spiritual warfare, 2.) our true identity in Christ, 3.) discerning God’s will and guidance, and 4.) deliverance from evil strongholds. If there is a road, then there must be a destination. The destination in this book is to come to a place of victory in Christ. We will start with the signs of the road to success with five critical lessons of spiritual warfare. Then we need a passport of our true identity in Christ so that we know who we are. Next, we need a map to know what to do and how to get to where we are going by discerning God’s will and guidance. Last, sometimes we get off the road, and we need to reroute to get back on the road again, and that’s when we need deliverance from evil strongholds.
I have written this book for the born-again Christian in mind. If you are not born-again or do not even know what born-again
means, I ask that you read the section on A Prayer for Salvation
at the end after you read the rest of this book.
God Bless You,
Andy Ben Nakagawa
I’M A WINNER
(BECAUSE CHRIST LIVES IN ME)
Before I was a sinner,
Now I’m a winner.
I can beat the devil
And take it
To another level.
I am free
Because Christ
Lives in me.
I can be
Who God wants
Me to be.
I‘ve been blind;
Out of my mind,
But now I can see.
Saved by amazing grace,
I long to see His face.
Christ lives in me.
By His power
And truth
I‘ve been set free.
What can I say?
I know the way.
What about you,
My friend?
Do you know
The end?
If you do,
Then can I
Hear an Amen
?
THE SIGNS LEADING TO
THE ROAD TO VICTORY:
FIVE KEY LESSONS OF
SPIRITUAL WARFARE
Let‘s begin this chapter with a short prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, please help us live the best life we can by knowing how to stay on the road to victory. You know what is best for us. Please guide, protect, and encourage us on our journey to victorious Christian living.
In Jesus‘ name,
Amen"
WHAT ARE THE SIGNS TO THE ROAD TO VICTORY?
Whenever we travel down any road, we see signs telling us where to go. And the path to victory is no different. There are five signs or key lessons that point to the road to success. The way to victory involves spiritual warfare. It will help us find the path to winning much more accessible when we know about spiritual warfare and learn the five critical lessons of spiritual warfare. And the five lessons are easy to apply.
WHAT IS SIN?
Before we begin the topic of spiritual warfare and the five lessons, we must know what sin is and how it affects our lives. Sin is anything we say, think, or do that contradicts or disobeys the Word of God. An excellent example of this is when Adam and Eve disobeyed God’s command by eating from the tree of knowledge. God said not to eat from it, or they will die. (Genesis 2:17) Eve decided, through Satan’s lies, that she could eat the tree without dying. Then Adam chooses to eat of the tree as well. (Genesis 3:1-6) This single error on the part of our ancestors caused many to be born with a sinful nature.
We know that we have inherited our DNA from our ancestors, Adam and Eve. That places the entire human race into sin. (Romans 3:10) However, we have one man who never sinned: Jesus Christ. Jesus took our sins upon Himself through His persecution and sacrifice on the cross. In the Old Testament times, a priest would
