I could not be more delighted than to whole-heartedly recommend Pam Robinson’s book, Healing Words Scriptures for the Spirit, Soul, and Body. Psalms 141:3 is the counseling plumb line she offers: God, give me grace to guard my lips from speaking what is wrong.

The prevailing tendency today is to speak negatively about issues we face—especially if we receive a bad report concerning our health. If we respond negatively instead of speaking God’s word, which is His will, it can
