About this ebook

Entering into this ministry, I entered in as a "filthy rag," not knowing the TREASURES of being constantly nourished by words of faith that could "set me free."

Through personal experience, testimonies, and revelation. I have developed a deeper level of understanding through the process of "spiritual training" that led me out of captivity.

You will discover different ways to discipline yourself for the purpose of being "spiritually fit," to have VALUE in everything & in every way, since it holds promise for the present life & for the life to come.

I have learned to fix my hopes on the living Jesus, who is the Savior of ALL people, especially those who believe in Him, recognize Him as the Son of God, & accept Him as Savior & Lord.

If you are searching for answers to be "set free," this book will be your 1st step into FREEDOM!

Author

Elizabeth A. Takenishi

As a child, I was very spoiled, having everything I desired. As an adult, I was disheartened by an abusive marriage that caused much damage & brokenness to my heart. In this present time, only because Jesus has saved me; brought restoration by His grace & mercy, today, I am currently a disciple of Jesus Christ, serving as Deacon in my local church. I have also become the author of this book, led by the Holy Spirit of God to express & open the doors of hope & salvation to those who will accept this gift of freedom.

    INTRODUCTION

COULD YOU POSSIBLY LOVE YOUR ENEMY WHEN YOU YOURSELF—

    WAS NOT TREATED FAIRLY?

INSTEAD OF DEMANDING YOUR RIGHTS, YOU MUST GIVE THEM UP FREELY!

The thought of "being kind to your enemy" is new and surprising in a world where revenge is the most common form of justice. Jesus clearly taught in (Luke 10: 30-37) to reach out to ALL people in need—and this includes, your very own enemies. When we apply God’s laws of "fairness and kindness to our enemies, we will show how different and peculiar" we are from the rest of the world.

If you have experienced "God’s grace," you will want to pass it on to others, and you will always remember that the grace of God is "Undeserved Favor." To have an effect on other people’s lives, you will first need to love them, believe in them, then, you must have the compassion of Christ that surpasses ALL under-standing—knowing that others CAN hurt too—they CAN also be wounded, just as much as YOU, yourself, have experienced that same kind of hurt and rejection in your own personal life.

By giving an enemy a drink, you are not excusing his misdeeds—you are only recognizing him, forgiving him, and loving him, in spite of all his sins—just as Jesus did it for you—exactly!

In (Romans 12: 19, 20)—Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written:

It is mine to avenge; I will repay, says the Lord.

    On the contrary: "If your enemy is hungry, feed him;

If he is thirsty, give him something to drink,

In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head."

When someone hurts you deeply, instead of giving him what he deserves, (Romans 12: 19-21) tells us—Paul says to befriend him. WHY does Paul tell us to forgive our enemies?

(1)-Forgiveness may break a "Cycle of Retaliation and lead to mutual reconciliation."

(2)-It may make the enemy feel ashamed and change his or her ways.

(3)-By contrast, repaying "evil for evil" hurts YOU, just as much as it hurts your enemy.

Even if your enemy does not repent, forgiving him or her, will free YOU of a heavy load of "bitterness."

It will be evident as to WHY people remain so "victim-minded throughout their entire life. Lastly, you will discover WHY people build such High Walls of Hostility" that keep them from having a meaningful, and lasting relationship with everyone—including God Himself! To sum it all up in a nutshell—you will discover WHY people have so many enemies!

From my very first and continued counsels with my Pastor Elisha V Shim, she has taught me through the studies of inner healing, and the cleansing of oneself—I have received deliverance, freedom, and restoration of broken relationships with my loved ones who, at one time, were very close to me, and yet, seemed distantly far away.

I have been set free from bondages that had me frozen, where no one could break the ice for many years! I have learned to have a genuine knowledge of the Truth, bringing me to a much wider, a much deeper, and a much higher understanding of –whenever we ASK, SEEK, and KNOCK, the doors will surely open!

I have allowed God to cleanse my hates, comfort my hurts, and disinfect my lusts to remove my fears. Let the Lord fill you with the understanding and empathy so you can feel the same sorrow, anger, and hurt—ALL that He had gone through when He died on the cross for us!

Hurts and "unresolved issues" from the past can prevent us from experiencing healing and reconciliation when conflicts arise. Healing for our souls involves a renewal of our thoughts and attitudes from negative attitudes so that we can respond to God in love and trust. One of the areas in which we are vulnerable to hurt feelings and damaged emotions, is in our relationships with our own family members—OUR GREATEST ENEMY!

This book will help and guide you to be able to "Love Your Enemy" just as Jesus loves them. After learning about the CAUSE—and the EFFECT—you will soon gain a SOLUTION—and you will receive the benefits of your FREEDOM to live "Loved by others," and you will also have the FREEDOM to "Love-the Unlovely," unconditionally!

Throughout my entire life, I have never heard anything about inner healing or damaged emotions. Today, I have been blessed to have received great healing, deliverance, and much freedom from the bondage of my sinful nature—I have learned to "love my enemy" with the unconditional AGAPE love of God!

There is only one way, through Jesus, that God can save us and preserve our freedom—It is the way of suffering like our Jesus Christ did, the way of giving up and denying our old sinful ways, and lastly, learning about the different ways to have forgiveness in your heart, to be able to love the unlovely with the unconditional love of God!

    CHAPTER 1

    NEW BEGINNING

This all began with a phone call from my long time friend of thirty-one years. I hadn’t talked to her for about 4 years, why? There was a lot of bitterness inside of me, and I could not forgive her, I could not trust her, and I had blamed her for all the years of "verbal torture I had to listen to, all the years of cussing words from my own father because of a money situation" that went bad.

The night before she called me, I was crying out to God! Lord, my son was in jail once again, and it was close to the Christmas holiday, and I was celebrating the biggest "pity party"—ALL BY MYSELF! No son, no grand-daughter, no Christmas tree, and no Holiday spirit! All I had was emptiness, much loneliness, I didn’t want to feel anymore! "God, just take me, I don’t want to go through another holiday season feeling
