To all the great ladies in my life: my wife, mom, sister, and daughters. Thanks to my lovely wife for her unconditional love and support. My mom always believed in me and said I could be whatever I wanted to be and do whatever I wanted to do. Thank you, Mom, for believing in me, for encouraging me, and for being my mom. Thanks to my sister and friend for her great belief in me and support. Thanks to my lovely daughters for the many life lessons that came to me through you.
All that I am, or hope to be, I owe to my angel mother.

Introduction
I love Jesus.
I wanted to say that up front because I know many who read this book will expect lots of talk about him. Although this book is about what I have learned while sometimes walking with him, it is also written about those times when I felt I was walking alone but trusted the inner voice. This book is more about my experiences in life and what God and the Spirit have allowed me to learn. Sometimes I have learned while acting out of ego, which has often sent me to the school of hard knocks. Hard knocks can be a tough teacher. Many other times I’ve learned because I have surrendered and decided to walk in the power of the Spirit. The Spirit, once activated within you, provides you with love, peace, and truth.
In this book, I believe you will find a common thread of God’s story in my life and the divine leading and inspiring inner power. You will find plenty of principles that, if you are open to them, I know will lead you to a greater peace within yourself and between you and your creator. You will find scriptures, particularly at the end of each chapter, if you want to get deeper into wisdom. There are also some wonderful quotes throughout from multiple seasoned sages and teachers. If you want to go even further, there are some practical application practices at the end of the book for you to dive into.
But most of this book is written by way of the secret I learned in a dream. One morning I was awoken after a couple of hours of sleep to a still, peaceful whisper that said, Get up; I have a secret to tell you.
I ignored this voice two times, but the voice persisted and said, Get up; go to your kitchen counter and sit. I have a secret to tell you. It is the answer to the question you have been asking.
I threw back the covers of my warm nest, went to the kitchen counter where I study most mornings, and paused in silent prayer. Then the voice said, I want you to write like you minister; write what is in your heart and on your tongue.
I minister from love with power and action. I also believe in fun.
I hope that as you read my personal story, you feel that you have found a friend, someone who sees beyond the flesh and into the depths of your spirit. Someone who sees the greatness in you as a creation.
It is my desire that you feel the presence of a burning fire, one that is available to you
