Antichrist Silent Takeover of the World and the Fight to Save It - R. W. Curtis

    CHAPTER I

    ORIGIN OF THE ANTICHRIST

TO UNDERSTAND THE Antichrist, it’s best to first understand its creator, Satan. From the beginning, as an angel in heaven, Satan’s highest aspiration was to be as powerful as God. He sought to be like God, and be worshiped by every being in the universe. Satan’s vain attempts to usurp God’s authority are the reason for his removal from heaven. As a result, he knows he must settle for less; to be worshiped for who he is, the sole leader of an evil empire; God’s greatest arch-enemy. His hatred of God is so strong that it angers him that anyone worships God at all, in the earthly or spiritual realm. Despite Satan’s knowledge that God can eliminate him at any time, he works endlessly to gain influence and control.

Satan’s two greatest objectives now are: doing everything he can to reduce the positive effects of Christianity, including the persecution and killing of Christians and Christian sympathizers, and doing all he can to increase the number of his earthly worshipers. Think of him as a popular, effective politician with millions of spiritual demons (campaign workers) that help him. As well as millions of humans on earth who unknowingly assist him in keeping evil at the forefront of human behavior. Even with this assistance, Satan must employ a solid plan to organize his followers - thus the Antichrist.

TIME IS SHORT – EVIL INTENSIFIES

Unordinary evil rears its ugly head continually in this world. Every day, I hear someone ask: Why is this or that happening? The Bible gives the clear answer.

Its tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that it might devour her child the moment he was born… Then war broke out in heaven, Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. The great dragon was hurled down - that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him. Revelation 12:4-7-9 (NIV)

Satan and his demons are spiritual, thus, they are invisible. Humans will not see them on the earth, only their effects. Since the flood of Noah’s day, God has limited their direct relationship with humans. For example; they can no longer materialize into humans as they did prior to the flood, and they can no longer physically appear to humans as themselves or anyone else. So, when Satan is cast out of heaven, only the effects of his meddling in human affairs will be visible. We will know when, because the effects will intensify.

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground. Ephesians 6:10-13 (NIV)

The more you know about this subject, the more you will be equipped to keep evil out of your personal life. You can also gain the knowledge to see how Satan is influencing not only individuals, but governments, and certain organizations, as well. You’ll be able to easily identify which side any organization is on, God’s or Satan’s. There is no such thing as riding the fence. Jesus referred to this in Revelation as being lukewarm, neither hot nor cold.

I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm - neither hot nor cold - I am about to spit you out of my mouth. Revelation 3:15-16 (NIV)

Politicians and religious leaders are especially targeted by Satan, as they control millions of people, and can easily influence them. The Antichrist plays a very important role in this brilliant plan, allowing Satan to be most efficient, leading up to the end of the world as we know it. In our time, there have been specific politicians, religious leaders, and organizations that have perfectly aligned themselves and their agenda with Satan’s plan. On the other hand, there are those who attempt to strike down every evil policy implemented by their adversarial opponent. In most cases, these two groups of people have no idea that they are being used by a higher power, whether it be evil or good. In this book, we will name names on both sides and expose the good and the evil.

    FORETOLD IN PROPHECY

Daniel, Isaiah, Paul, John, Jesus, and others foretold the events that would occur during the end times; right before, during and after Jesus’ return. John wrote an entire book revealing these events. It is called Revelation. The book of Revelation revealed that in a short time from now, immediately upon Jesus’ return, Satan will be bound and chained for a long period of time, during which he will no longer be allowed to meddle in the affairs of man. He knows his time is short, therefore his efforts have increased.

The following is a partial list of events of Bible prophecies already fulfilled, or in the process of being fulfilled, that we will discuss in detail later.

    1. The rise, fall, and return of the Beast that came out of the sea Revelation. 13

    2. The rise, fall, and return of the Beast that came out of the earth Revelation 13

    3. The rise, fall, and return of the Great Prostitute Revelation. 17

    4. First and second attempt of the Antichrist to set up a New World Order (NWO) paralleled with the mass persecution and murder of Christians. Revelation 13

    5. The war of good and evil sparked by the return of the sea Beast Revelation 17

    6. The return of the eighth king, who was once the seventh king Revelation. 17

    7. The eighth king attempts to overthrow the new current seventh king Revelation 17

    8. He will be so successful that the world’s population will believe he has brought peace and security to the entire world I Thessalonians 5:3

    CHAPTER II

    WHY THE ANTICHRIST EXISTS

The finest trick of the devil is to persuade you that he does

not exist. Charles Baudelaire, 17th Century Poet

THE OLD TESTAMENT writings had been completed for hundreds of years prior to the arrival of Jesus on the earth. When He arrived, a new era began. This was a new challenge for Satan, one he had never faced before. Satan would need to come up with a new plan to combat the powerful earthly presence of Jesus. He had dealt with Jesus in the spiritual realm for millenniums and now, for the first time, he had to deal with him in the earthly realm, influencing humans directly. This would affect how Satan would recruit his new earthly subjects. Jesus posed a new threat to Satan and he was not giving up yet. Jesus spoke about his earlier existence:

Very truly I tell you, Jesus answered, before Abraham was born, I am! John 8:58 (NIV)

Before we get into how Satan created the Antichrist to battle Jesus’ success on earth, let’s first look at the origin of the title itself.

    THE TITLE

Addressing the concern for the very first time, the Apostle John coined a new title for individuals who opposed Christ; he said:

Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many Antichrists have come. I John 2:18 (NIV)

Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God; Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world. I John 4:1-3 (NIV)

In these two sets of scriptures John referred to the Antichrist as an organized group of people, and as a spirit, that was also called the Antichrist. We can better understand this if we compare groups that exist today with similar names. Just as someone in the media might coin a phrase or word to describe a group, such as Anti-police or Anti-government, so John coined the phrase Anti-Christ, for the first time in history. He used the title to label those that who had risen up to oppose Christ, his followers, and that for which they stood.

The New Testament was originally spoken and written in Greek. The Greek word that John coined here for Anti was Av-ti. This adjective means against, opposite to, or in place of. The original Greek word for Christ Kristos, meaning: anointed one, chosen one, thus John in the original language was simply stating the term Antichrist to mean against, opposed to, or in place of the Anointed One - Christ.

Some people perpetuated the idea that Jesus was the exact opposite of who He claimed to be. These people believed that Jesus was an impostor, was just a normal man. Certain individuals were so much against Christ, that they became actual impostors, trying to throw others off.

If you are anti anything, you are against it. An antidote to a poison is a remedy given against the poison to stop it from killing you. An antibiotic is a drug that is given to provide a shield against harmful bacteria that has invaded your body. Similarly, liquids in car engines tend to freeze if antifreeze is not used as protection against frigid winter temperatures. An antonym is a word that is opposite in meaning to another word, such as dark is to light. Is it now clear how these polar opposite first century enemies of Christ were known as Antichrist’s? They were not marked or exceptional people. These were ordinary people who opposed Christ. Some were educated, some not, some rich, some poor, etc… many were no doubt already clergy.

A few short years after Jesus was killed, the Apostle John wrote to Christians of the early church warning of false messengers. These charlatan apostles were preaching about Jesus, claiming he was not the real Lamb of God. This counter belief, Satan’s’ efforts to mislead God’s people, only twenty years after Jesus, was ludicrous. It is the equivalent of a group of Americans stating Ronald Reagan was a man in power several decades ago, but not really the President of the United States. These individuals were motivated by a counterfeit spirit, the polar opposite of the Holy Spirit. It was the dawning of the Antichrist organization and movement. Just as God uses the Holy Spirit for good to motivate His people, Satan uses the evil Antichrist’s evil spirit to direct his followers.

    SAFETY IN KNOWLEDGE

Don’t let the title Antichrist fool you. Antichrist is an organized group against Christ, Christianity, and all that both represent. The title Antichrist might sound like it is just a single person or entity. It is not. There were a few hundred in existence in Jesus’ day, today there are millions. If there was a group known as CAUS (Citizens Against the United States) they would be labeled as Anti – American, no matter their size or number, be it a few or millions. As an example, if one FBI agent knocked on your door, you could accurately state: The FBI is knocking at my door. If ten FBI agents knocked, you could still make the exact same statement, The FBI is knocking at my door. The title Antichrist can be used the same way; describing one or many. You can also refer to the FBI as a spirit in the sense that people in general are fearful of the FBI. For example: Every single law in the land is written on paper, but there is the spirit of the law.

The few Antichrists in the first century were Christian defectors who pretended to worship God. They had numerous excuses to justify their defection, such as; Jesus was conceived by an unwed mother, so He was an illegitimate child; He violated many Mosaic Laws, so surely was not the true Son of God, Jesus had ideas about a kingdom, (His followers believed it was an earthly kingdom although Jesus was speaking of a heavenly one) would overthrow Rome, the world power at that time, but that kingdom never came. This list continues. Regarding these Antichrists, John wrote:

They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us, but their going showed that none of them belonged to us. I John 2:19 (NIV)

Why should you know about the Anti-Christ? To put it in the simplest terms possible: It could mean your life. John said that the Antichrist would mislead many, even the chosen ones. You too, could be led astray, along with millions of others. Don’t allow yourself to be deceived. Satan is more cunning and devious than anyone ever known in history. His best work of deception is convincing you that he does not even exist. The Antichrist of which John speaks, is infiltrated within individuals, governments, organizations, religions, politicians, and political groups that are specifically engaging in an organized measure to counter the efforts of Jesus Christ. If you, or anyone, shows allegiance to these groups, mentally, verbally, physically, spiritually or financially, you would be considered a supporter. When Christ returns, you don’t want to be in support of His opposition.

Historical evidence, as far back as Babylon, points to slaves being marked or branded on their foreheads to show to whom they belonged. Is it possible you could have already supported the Antichrist in some way, and already be marked?

    DON’T BE DECEIVED

To escape finding yourself on the wrong side without even knowing it, learning all you can about the Antichrist is imperative. The Apostle Paul wrote:

For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve. II Corinthians 11:13-15. (NIV)

These false Messiahs will masquerade as servants of righteousness, just as their master, Satan, masquerades as an angel of light. Instead, they will be masters of the dark; masters of evil. Their main motives are greed, and satisfying their own egos. They derive many benefits from beguiling would-be worshipers of God, and influencing them to follow the Devil. These false Christs will appear to represent Jesus in churches, synagogues, mosques, and other places of worship. They will be politicians who appear to do good deeds in government, while they are passing laws undermining Christians’ rights and freedoms. They will be politicians who go to church on Sunday and worship, then on Monday, go to work to fund organizations allowing the legal, horrendous murder of millions of unborn babies. Others work as professors on college campuses, teaching young people about the New World Order, One World Government, Climate Change, Open Borders, and other modern day thoughts, under the pretense of opening their students’ eyes to a better way of life. In turn, eroding all the good things that many of these young adults learned growing up in Christian households. Note the following quote from a professor of higher education:

Every child in America entering school at the age of five is insane because he comes to school with certain allegiances toward our founding Fathers, toward his parents, toward a belief in a supernatural being, toward the sovereignty of his nation as a separate entity…. It’s up to you to make all of these sick children well… Dr. Chester M Pierce -Harvard University in the keynote address to the Association for Childhood Education International in Denver, Colorado. 1972

They will be so good at what they do, even some of the most faithful Christian Saints will be led astray.

    NOT AN INDIVIDUAL

Earlier you read, the Apostle John’s warning of many Antichrists who had already come. That scripture clearly states that the Antichrist is not an individual, but numerous entities who were around in the first century. The original Greek word for many is polys, it means plenteous or great in amount. Does it sound like that could ever be applied to just one person? The following are other scriptures using the exact same Greek word polys.

Large crowds from Galilee. Matthew 4:25 (NIV)

…and many enter through it. Matthew 7:13 (NIV)

We know we can definitely rule out a single individual. Many writers have predicted it would be one individual rising up in the last days, such as: The Pope, a U.S. President, Hitler, etc… The list is many, but this cannot be the case. The Antichrist existed in John’s day, and if the Antichrist also exists today, which it does, a single man could never live that long. To further assist in identifying the Antichrist, let’s take a look at the only four times that title was used in the scriptures.

Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the (1) Antichrist is coming, even now many (2) Antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour. I John 2:18 (NIV)

Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the (3) Antichrist—denying the Father and the Son. I John 2:22 (NIV)

I say this because many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the (4) Antichrist II John 1:7 (NIV)

The Antichrist was a relatively small group in Jesus’ day, but has grown into a large organization today. Organizations are made up of individuals. Just as Christians are filled with the Holy Spirit, Satan’s followers are filled with an evil spirit that John called the Antichrist. The spirit Satan uses to oppose Christ at every turn. It’s an opposite faction, a movement, a counter belief system, a campaign, an evil spirit that refutes, resists, and even attempts to replace Christ. Just as a politician would campaign against their opponent using deceit, and corruption, so will the Antichrist use treachery in striving to defeat Christ, his followers and their virtues.

The title Antichrist can be applied to an individual, a spirit, a group, or an organization. Their power can be used to hurt or harm Christianity in many ways. Do not ignore Satan’s use of everything at his disposal for this evil force to minimize, stop, or destroy the good work Jesus set in motion many centuries ago. Just as you don’t have to be a Christian to be used by God, you don’t have to be a devil worshiper to be used by Satan. There are numerous examples of this in the scriptures. I cannot overstate the importance of learning who Satan has used as puppets, to carry out his evil deeds. You must know the pawns in the Antichrist campaign to avoid injury from them. You support a local business by purchasing products, a local church by attending meetings, and donating your money. You support a politician by voting for that person, because you believe that or she will act upon things your desire. You cannot support Christ, and Satan with his Antichrist efforts, at the same time.

Notice the following scriptures as John explains the Antichrist, and the contrast between such evil and the Spirit of God.

But every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the Antichrist. Which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world… They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them. We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood. 1 John 4:3,5-6 (NIV)

The word falsehood in the original Greek language means spirit of falsehood. This refers to deception, and lies. John is clearly talking about the Antichrist here.

    INDELIBLE MARKS OF IDENTIFICATION

If law enforcement was looking for a criminal who had five identifiable traits or characteristics, they would unmistakably be able to ID that individual, if they came across someone who matched all five descriptions. For example: race, sex, fingerprints, height, and weight. The Bible gives us very distinct characteristics of the Antichrist, so understanding and identification are not difficult. Those five characteristics are:

    • Denies Christ - Believes Jesus was not the son of God.

    • Opposes Christ – Shown clearly by actions.

    • Replaces Christ – Impersonates Christ.

    • Pretends to do good, while practicing evil - Claims to be a religion of peace, while displaying acts of violence against others.

    • Persecutes Christ’s
