About this ebook

This book is about Satan's war against God and the human race, a war that started in heaven and continues on the earth. Christian or not, believer or not, we are at war. Satan targets families, young people, believers, and nonbelievers. As he pushes believers to sin, it is unquestionable that tragic events all over the world are the deeds of Satan influencing the minds of nonbelievers. Most of the time, he is an unseen presence at the table of negotiation in the UN. He is the bitter enemy of the human race. His goal is to steal, destroy, and kill. We have to be aware and prepared in order to protect ourselves against his attacks. As a child of God, our objective should be to stay close to the Lord. The armor of God is the weapon that the Bible instructs us to use in order to protect ourselves against him. My friend, I want to let you know that Satan is real. Be aware, be prepared.

    BIOGRAPHY

    Preface

We are living in a time of trouble. There are problems anywhere in the world. Families break apart. States legalize same sex marriage. Hate crimes become common in our communities. Young people think that the way to live a better life is into smoking, taking drugs, and alcohol. Church is no more a secure place to stay because intruders can break into at the time of worship and shoot at worshippers. Then we can wonder why things are going so wrong around the world.

We must understand that there is a great cosmic conflict between good and evil. Satan is at war against God and mankind. The war started in heaven and continues now on the earth against the human race. The apostle John is clear when he said, We know that we are of God and the whole world is in the power of the evil One (1 John 5:19).

I am writing this book to let you know that the reason for why so bad things happen in this world is because Satan is the ruler of this world, and his goal is to destroy the human race. He launches attacks against families, young people, churches, believers, nonbelievers. He influences minds of nations’ leaders and brings them to make horrible decisions. So often at the UN, on the negotiation table, Satan is an unseen presence. It is unquestionable that around the world, tragic events are carried out by people under the influence of demonic forces acting under Satan’s command.

To protect ourselves against his attacks, we must recognize that Satan is a real being, and he exists. He is not a product of imagination or a medieval superstition. He is Bible fact and a reality of every day. We must understand, if there is a God who loves us, there is also a devil who hates us and does everything in his power to destroy us. In order to protect ourselves, we must be aware, alert, and prepared.

    Introduction

The manifestation of evil in all venues of life on this planet earth brings us to ask the question about the origin of evil. Biblically speaking, evil is that which is contrary to the character and the will of God; the opposite of what is good; and synonymous of wickedness, worthlessness, and disaster. According to the Scriptures, the source of evil is Lucifer—Satan, the devil. He is the adversary of God—the one who, after being in God’s presence, fell into sin and became evil by nature.

Lucifer, in his self-exaltation, wanted not only to be like the Most High but to be above God and make himself the Most High. He has been cast down to the earth and became Satan, the mortal enemy of God and mankind (Isaiah 14:12–15). Satan, since that time, rules the system of sinful opposition to God. Furthermore, the Bible refers to him as the ruler of this world (John 12:31). Satan is a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Since Adam and Eve, Satan plays a part in the deaths of all human beings. His desire is to destroy the human race.

Satan is at war on mankind. He launches his attacks on human beings over all fronts. He targets families in order to alienate people from one another and creates trouble and chaos among them. Married people are as in a wrestling match with Satan. In addition to this, he pushes married couples to having unnatural sexual liaison and leads to same-sex marriage. Satan targets young people. He blinds their minds and makes them feel in heaven by taking drugs and alcohol and that sex is everything. He pushes the youth to leaving the family environment to join street gangs for more comfort.

Satan targets churches. He makes the world a battleground. The battle is between Satan’s lies and God’s truth. He introduces false teachings into the church. He is successful in getting Christians to sin. From the beginning, he has been the persecutor of the church of God. He influences the minds of believers in different ways and brings them to temptation. He influences the minds of nonbelievers in order to launch physical attacks against churches. People under demonic influence break into churches at the time of worship and shoot at worshippers everywhere in the world, killing innocent people. His demons are capable to possess and take over minds and bodies of humans. Satan influences leaders’ decisions around the world.

Satan is real. He is not a product of imagination. He is Bible fact and a reality of every day. The Bible says, Be sober-mind and alert, your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8–9). We must be equipped to defeat him. The armor of God is the weapon that the Bible instructs us to use in order to protect ourselves when Satan attacks (Ephesians 6:10–18).

    Chapter 1

    Origin of Satan

    Lucifer in the Heaven

The Bible tells us that God created the heaven and the earth in six days, and he rested on the seventh day after being assured that everything he created was good. The Scriptures tell us again that at the very beginning, God created Lucifer. This angel was the highest creature the Lord ever created.

    Angel of Light

Lucifer was created perfect and chosen to be closest to God out of all the angels. You were the anointed cherub as guardian, and I have set you so; you were on the holy mountain of God; you walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones (Ezekiel 28:14). The Lord said of Lucifer, You were the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty (Ezekiel 28:12). He was the wisest creature God ever created. No other angel—no other being—was created with the intelligence that God gave to this
