Juanita Downs Sims

After marrying her patient, Juanita Sims later gave up her career in nursing and became a homemaker. Being able to express herself through the love and care she provided for her family and home, was to her, a gift from God that she accepted gladly. As a young mother she fell in love with the Bible. The study of God’s word later led to her teaching Bible and Mission studies, Sunday School, and doing inspirational speaking. Juanita has a great appreciation for art, loves classical music, poetry and reading. Today she is a grandmother, widow, and author.
