She was from the city of Abundant Life.

Prayed to God through Jesus christ.

Sanctified is the way she chose to live life.

A virgin like Mary, Joseph’s wife.

She made others take flight.

High off scriptures, and life.

Fun-loving, and nice.

For each one offering she gave twice.

Didn’t care of others downfalls, or sick sinful delights;

she’d still preach to them about Christ.

She said once she die, she’d wanted to be buried

in the city of Abundant Life.

2. THANKS LORD

Thank you Lord for allowing me to wake up today to breathe.

To continue on with life, to proceed.

Thank you Lord for giving me a golden heart that loves doing good

deeds.

Thank you Lord for giving me a paper and pen to write poetry as a way

of being free.

Thank you Lord for the clothes on my back, the food that I eat;

thank you Lord for simply blessing me to be me.

3. EVER

It was said the love we had would remain rather we’re breathing or dead.

The only true love I ever had.

My happy days was converted over from the once tears I shed.

She’d convey to me her feelings out loud and sometimes with a pen and pad.

Since the day we met no regrets, I’m glad.

She say she’s pregnant, so now they start calling me dad.

A love that brought forth riches from rags.
