Lit.

Lit up the sky not like the first,

second, or third, but more like the fourth

day of July.

Believe she could fly.

Off life had a natural high.

Always wanted to be near

by my side.

Within her holy spirits

reside, demons could never

live to even get a chance to die.

Natural life, of natural high.

2. DISTANCE

Loving from a distance.

Relentless persistance.

Being away from home but still

love them, still miss them.

Far and wide love remains

coincide from a distance

amongst them.

Amongst schools of fish to swim.

Love that had light even

when the cold world became grim.

Love it was, love it is

amongst us, amongst them.

3. SHE’D OPEN MY EYES

She open my eyes to the sight of her rise.

I’d visualize family ties, moms apple pie, Heaven in the sky,

babies that will never even cry.

Legitimate reasoning why.
