MIND-BLOWING, horrible, shocking, sad, devastating, hectic . . . These are just some of the words used to describe the murder trial involving a South African doctor who killed her three little girls in New Zealand. It is indeed all of those things and as it continues there will no doubt be more heartrending and horrendous revelations.
At the heart of it all is the fact that a mother killed her daughters. Whether Lauren Dickason murdered them in cold blood or strangled and suffocated them as a result of insanity is what’s in question and what a jury in New Zealand must decide.
The trial was still underway at the time we went to print and it’s anyone’s guess how it will turn out. But what we know for sure is that there’s a grieving dad who lost his three children and possibly also his wife.
