God Can and God Will: All You Have to Do Is Ask

About this ebook
The power of God is real and shining brighter than ever. I want to simply share how asking the Lord into my life changed me from a very violent, dark individual who truly cared about nothing to a pretty decent guy. I know it’s hard to believe in God when we can’t see him. That’s what this is all about. Faith and belief are so easy to put in someone or something in this world, but to put them in an unseen God? That’s when the power of God takes control, and life becomes bigger, better, and brighter!
Ronald Frye
Long ago darkness was a way of life for this young man while he was on the streets of Chicago. During the course of many years in prison he unknowingly began a relationship with God. While incarcerated and engaged in another writing project, God came and told him he had another writing project for him. He quickly started on this project and was directed by God through the entire journey. He currently resides in Colorado working full-time and writing part-time, and strengthening his relationship with God. Along with his relationship with God came an understanding he never thought twice about. “If the smallest amount of light is placed on any type of situation that may occur in this life time, it will brighten up the darkest of situations”.

I Believe readers will benefit from my books because I truly understand the struggles of life, and I offer a very in-depth look at problems the everyday person is struggling with, and explain in very simple terms why they deal with them, as well easy solutions to these problems. Although GOD
is the answer to all the problems we deal with, I write books that are a comfortable read for all those readers who are not
just yet ready for God!! Readers will relate to my work very easily, because I speak of everyday truths, and scenarios that are up-close and personal to all my readers. I’ve been at the very bottom of the barrel, I’ve struggled with the best of them. But now I’m on the top of my game, and I want the world to know just how easy it was to get there! William Graham contributed his poetic talent of humor that I used to bridge many spiritual points that were made in this book. William was also incarcerated along with me but made the transformation to the gospel truth. Praise God!
God Can, and God Will

God Can, and God Will, all you have to do is ask!
Over the years, I have come to learn that the devil is very real, and that evil is always a lot closer than we want to believe. Just look at the past twenty-years. People who were directly impacted by some of the horrific evil events in this country, never imagined, what was just right around the corner.
I was most definitely touched, personally by the evil that exists. And lived a very, dark life, for a very long time. Something that did not go unnoticed by my Uncle Alvin, back home, in Chicago. And he definitely played a huge part in sparking my interest, so to speak. And with that sparking of interest came a serious curiosity for the word of God. Something I never gave two seconds of thought; on the streets of Chicago, growing up. Not to mention the twenty-two straight years, I served in a Colorado prison, from 1991 to 2012. As well, after I was released from jail.
I have always been a very fast learner. In addition, I caught on quickly to the fact: Ask, and it will be given to you;
Matthew 7:7, And let me tell you, I have been in situations the past thirty months, where I know God carried me. Earlier, because of others ASKING Him to watch over me. And later on, once I began to BELIEVE, I was asking and I most definitely received.

It’s not Much to Ask
Jeremiah 33:3 Call to me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know
Now! I am pretty new to Christianity, just a pup. I know that, not professing to be anymore than I am. But! That verse just about summed up my book, in a nut-shell. Of course, I’ll continue to write though! Not only did our amazingly wonderful Father say and I will answer you,
but there was a tad-bit of sweetener put on the deal. Great, great and mighty things for us to see. WOW!
Let me tell you a quick story. Those twenty-two years I served, and every one of them, in total darkness, I was blind as a bat, in all that dark and did not have a clue I was calling God, with no idea how powerful a call, I was actually making. I prayed all through my sentence, asking God to watch over my family. Never prayed for anything else. Simply "God please watch the family, keep em’ safe.
And the Lord answered, that simple request that I’m thankful for, to this day. Just another reason, I am never to turn my back on the way of the Lord. I am very aware only God could have kept my family safe all these years. See, the majority of my family lives in Chicago. And I have a very huge family at that. For all these years to go by and not one of my "African-American family members to be lost, to violence, is anything short of a miracle. Yet I know it’s a blessing that could never go unnoticed by me. No, No, No!
And just so no one is mis-lead by what I just said, I don’t believe in miracles, but I sure do believe in God! And I believe in everthing the Bible says, top to bottom, beginning to end, about the good Lord! Because of this belief, I have put all my trust in Jesus and do not focus on the cares of this world. Each day, I am seeing more, that: …it is the gift of God
: talked about in Ephesians, chapter 2:8.
I am forty-five years old, serving time in prison. I have no home or car OH WELL!
To this world, I have nothing. To the world? The world can’t see
what I have. I mean really, all the worldly people are in darkness, and see not, the bright, light I do. I am at peace; I am full of joy, from the time I wake, until I rest at night. I have the good Lord, and I understand what I need, will be provided. And what I want, I probably don’t even need. That is very important for people to grasp ahold of, and it will be a sure-fire game changer in your life, when you do! Just another beautiful understanding that comes to the heart of those who truly love and fear the Lord.
Like I mentioned, I’m just opening my eyes to the word of God. Literally, I’ve just recently opened the Bible, and began to read, and study for the first time in my life. God has wrapped the old arms around me so tightly, and I’m truly feeling the love. With that being said, I can’t see why proclaimed Christians are not working harder.
I’m not talking down on anyone. Honestly, I have so much work to do on me,
it’s staggering. But I know what I feel; I know that I’m feeling all of this cause of my understanding of the ultimate sacrifice Jesus made for us. Therefore, I want EVERYONE
I come in contact with, to feel what I feel.
I talk to different inmates, everyday, about God, I share what the Lord has done for me. I know I’ll need to polish up a bit, but I’m ready to do whatever it is that God has in store for me. And I was clearly told, this book was a great start. It took a few weeks of trying to figure out exactly what it was. But, once I got a clear understanding, God told me to get to work. So, here I am.
I was truly starting to feel the pain of being a broken, lost child. I knew something was very wrong, and the time had come to ask God for forgiveness, and give me the tools to see the truth. I just simply asked. And a little bitty, spark started a very, big fire. In my soul!
And when I talk about working to assist others to enjoy what the Lord is allowing me to, I sincerely want to give to others what God has given to me. And always keeping an eye, for someone down and out. Cause our Father most definitely, pulled me up, when I was almost down for the count! 2nd Corinthians 1:4 says: …that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble,
and now that I have that feeling which of course, is simple faith in Jesus, I understand there is no other feeling like it. Really! We got to be rational with ourselves, no doubt. Just because we have this new found faith, does not mean all
problems, are no more! No, No, No. It’s not time to roll up and down easy street. Although your true belief in the Word of God is a huge step in the right direction.
I am so sold on the fact that I have no worries to deal with anymore, simply because I ask the Lord to take control of my life. It’s a burden that anyone can and will enjoy being lifted off of them. Sad to say, a lot of people will never experience the feeling because they choose not to believe the things Jesus endured so we could benefit from the joys of forgiveness. As well, we would be allowed to be born again, and have our spirits recreated.
Faith
Beyond the means of uneven odds, I tried to live life. I tried to love others, before I loved God. I told myself, I could do it. Weighing the stress of tomorrow on the hands of time. Busy with the ups and downs in life wondering why I couldn’t shine. God recognized my burdens, he knew I was a slave to myself. Extending his hand in the process of devastation, I didn’t want any help. My sinful nature was vast, humiliated by such actions of fear. Incarcerated by the lack of hope, I truly didn’t know what was dear. God told me to ask forgiveness, and be sincere, and all the joys of a righteous life, will always be near. Matthew 22:37 Jesus said to him, you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind.
Belief,
is a very serious word. It’s a powerful word, as well. Not many people look at it with such respect, because they haven’t experienced the power that comes hand-in-hand with it. When you believe, there is nothing that is out of reach.
Everytime Michael Jordan stepped on the basketball court; he really believed
he would win. That man actually had that belief in his heart. Now, for all us sports, particularly basketball fans, we know that is not possible in any young man’s sports career, so to speak. But, because of that belief he had, he came close to the unthinkable. Just look it up, No man except his teammates has won seventy games in one NBA season.
Dr. Charles Stanley has had a very huge impact on my change of direction. A few months back I began to visit the chaplain’s office at the prison. I quickly gravitated
