Valarie Laverne is a native Miamian raised in a home with her parents and sister. During this time, she learned valuable lessons about living to be and do your best at all times. She received an AA degree in Business Administration and has worked in the secretarial/ clerical field. The glory that I feel

Like the morning sunrise

Your voice brightens the day

Wake up my chosen one

It is now time to pray

As the day moves forward, the monitor is clear Lord, speak each direction my spirit needs to hear Into the setting sun your presence lingers near

To overshadow doubt and cast out any fear

During the dark of night just like a healing balm

Into the break of dawn your peace is with such calm

There is a need in me for all you come to give

Each day I must confess without you I can’t live

To God be the glory, amazing grace I sing

Forever you do reign with splendor of a king

The mention of your name, I hear the joy bells ring

Pass me not my Savior, you are my every thing

Because of who you are I sing to praise your name
