Her whole-hearted “Yes” to Him began a “boot camp” journey of reformation encompassing hundreds of every day challenges of obedience. This small book details some of the reasons Lily found to faithfully obey God. Then in her 40’s, that obedience resulted in her marrying me, the only man she had not chosen for herself. Twenty-seven years later, I have never known Lily to ever consciously choose her own will over His. Because of her example, I am learning what it means to prefer God’s will over my own.
