8575.pngT his was the most exciting day ever in the Sweet Little Kingdom of Lollipops. The King and the Queen and all of the people who lived in the kingdom had long awaited the birth of a Prince or a Princess, so it was indeed a very exciting day when the Royal Herald stepped out from the Royal Castle, blew the Royal Trumpet and loudly proclaimed, Princess Sweet Heart has been born!
He continued blowing the Royal Trumpet as he walked throughout the Sweet Little Kingdom of Lollipops. When he was not blowing the Royal Trumpet, he was proclaiming in a loud voice, Princess Sweet Heart has been born!
Following him were the Lollipop-Makers handing out pink lollipops shaped like a heart that had been made for this special occasion. Each lollipop was decorated with a pink ribbon tied into a bow around each stick. The Lollipop-Makers had made these lollipops for every person in the kingdom, young and old, in honor of this newborn Princess.
When those in their homes heard the blaring of a trumpet and people cheering, they rushed outside to find out what was all the commotion. When they heard the wonderful news, they immediately joined the cheering crowd as they paraded behind the Royal Herald. What a celebration it was throughout the whole Sweet Little Kingdom of Lollipops!
The crowd of people followed the Royal Herald all the way back to the Royal Castle. The celebration continued on the Royal Castle Grounds as the cheering people waited to find out what might happen next.
The Royal Herald stepped out onto the Royal Balcony and blew the Royal Trumpet. The crowd hushed. Out stepped the King, followed by the Queen, who was cradling the tiny baby in her arms. Though the people were not able to see the baby’s face, there were oohs
and aahs
just knowing that this precious newborn baby was their very own Princess Sweet Heart. The people started to cheer!
After a short while, the King raised his hand to quiet the crowd. All the people hushed.
The King proclaimed, Presenting Princess Sweet Heart!
The crowd cheered! The King and the Queen stood there proudly smiling.
After a short while, the King raised his hand to quiet the crowd. All the people hushed.
He continued, Today is a holiday. Today and every birthday of Princess Sweet Heart will be a holiday. There will be no work and there will be no school!
The crowd cheered! The King stood there smiling.
After a short while, the King raised his hand to quiet the crowd. All the people hushed.
The King continued, On the day of Princess Sweet Heart’s Sweet 16th Birthday, there will not only be a holiday that day, but there will be a holiday for a whole week. There will be no work for a week and there will be no school for a week!
The crowd cheered! The King stood there smiling.
After a short while, the King bowed to his subjects. He turned and escorted the Queen with the baby back into the Royal Castle. The doors were closed behind them.
The people excitingly talked at once as they slowly started making their way home. Since they did not have to go to work or to school, they were in no hurry. Friends talked with friends, neighbors talked with neighbors and strangers talked with
