S TILL IN A state of confusion after being assaulted in Las Vegas, Regina sat in her New York abode wondering who Jazz was and what was his affiliation to Shante and Vanessa, because she never seen or met anybody by the name of Jazz.

Although Regina was confused, she was very happy. Due to the fact that Shante gave her ($700,000) seven hundred thousand in Las Vegas right before returning to New York. Thanks to Shante’s realtor, Regina purchased a nice duplex house, which she’s renting out the second floor attached with an attic for ($2,000) two thousand a month to a while mid-aged couple. Regina thought she was fortunate, due to the fact she has two new incomes making her life easier to attain. Regina learned how to drive and obtained a driver’s permit, so Shante took her to purchase a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Altitude Edition, which comes optional with a Sunrider Soft Top.

Even though Regina had a new house, Jeep, and job as an assistant to Vanessa at Shante’s business management firm, her main concern which she threw in Shante’s face like a five-year-old child whenever she got the change was, did they find out who assaulted her, and if they did, were they going to retaliate.

Due to Regina’s injuries caused by the assault in Las Vegas, Shante gave Regina three weeks off so she could recover. During her time off of work, she checked in with Shante, E-Dub, and Vanessa, by calling them on the phone, but her face-to-face visits was mostly to see her mother. It was odd because after going to her mother’s, which was her old address before buying her new house, she noticed one particular car with a dark limo tint which made it hard to see if someone was inside, parked near her mother’s house on more than one different occasion. Regina really got paranoid when se seen the same car parked across the street from her house, as if they followed her she thought.

Regina and E-Dub’s relationship got passionately intense since leaving Las Vegas, but due to Regina’s selfish feelings on how she looks, they only talked on the phone every now and then. Since realizing she ran across the same care more than once, Regina called E-Dub on his cell-phone and when he answered she said, E, what’s up! … I know I’m not going crazy, but there is this car I seen parked in front of my mother’s house and now it’s parked in front of mine … what should I do? then sighed. E-Dub chuckled for a minute, then paused before saying, First of all, did you tell your girls, Shante and Vanessa? … and secondly, if you didn’t, I suggest you do so.

Regina signed for a second time, then said, Okay! … I’ll call and let my girls know, but it could be anybody; detectives, the Feds, them dudes that assaulted me in Vegas … oh, shit! I went back to the room in Vegas to get my wallet and my I.D. was in there with my mother’s address, which is where I was living before I had the chance to buy my house, while changing the tone of her voice. E-Dub then told Regina, Calm down! … just do like I said; tell your girls and I’ll call Jay and we’ll go check it out, then hung up the phone.

Regina sat in a brownish tan Ethan Allen reclining chair in her living room wondering who she should call, Shante or Vanessa. Regina decided to call Shante because Vanessa would only let Shante know, but probably wouldn’t explain it to her right. When Shante answered, Regina said, I got a problem and it’s serious, and paused for a minute as Shante screamed.

Hurry up and tell me, I’m on my way to meet a business client to close a deal.

Regina sighed, then let it out, There was this car sitting in front of my mother’s house, then I seen the same car in front of mine and I’m paranoid, being what happened to me in Las Vegas since I left my wallet in the room with my I.D. in it, which had my mother’s address on it at that time, Shante said, Damn! … I hope it ain’t that ghost coming back to haunt us, but I’ll call Jay and get him on the job, okay … don’t worry! and then she said quickly, Oh, call your mother and check up with her, but don’t let her know nothing," then hung up and went to continue her business.

Regina called her mother but got no answer, so she called E-Dub who told her him and Jay was on their way over to her mother’s house. E-Dub also asked Regina to describe the car to him, which she did. Jay’s cell-phone started to ring as she sat shotgun inside of E-Dub’s Dodge Charger. When Jay answered, Shante said, Yo! … that ghost from Las Vegas might be coming back to haunt us, … please go check …

Baby, I’m on my way with E already … he called me because Regina called him, then hung up his cell-phone. After Jay hung up his cell-phone, E-Dub told Jay to call Regina and yelled out her phone number to Jay. When Regina answered, Jay said, Hey! We need you to meet us at your mother’s house because we’re going to run up on the car, but we need you to go inside her house and make sure she alright … do you understand? … that means now, and hung up his cell phone.

Regina immediately go up off her recliner, then grabbed twenty dollars and the keys to her Jeep. By her front door, she put on a pair of Nike Uptowns, then ran out and got in her Jeep Wrangler.

As Regina drove off, she thought to herself, I’ll go crazy if something happens to my mother, while tears were formulating in her eyes. Meanwhile, at the same time Regina drove to her mother’s house, E-Dub and Jay pulled up a few houses away from Regina’s mother’s house and parked. As they got out of the car, E-Dub noticed a stocky white man coming out of Regina’s mother’s house and alerted Jay to take out his gun, then ran towards the guy and the car. Jay took off running being he seen E-Dub take off running. When they got close enough, E-Dub started shooting at the guy who then pulled out a gun and started shooting back. Jay ran on the sidewalk ducking, using the parked cars as his shield as he shot at the car and put (2) two bullets in the trunk area and one bullet hitting and blowing out the back window, as it pulled off without the guy. E-Dub somehow avoided the incoming bullets, but (4) four bullets that discharged from his (9 mm) nine-millimeter Ruger hit the guy; (1) one in the leg, (1) one in the arm, and (2) two in the chest killing him.

As E-Dub ran up to the body of the guy, Regina pulled up and left her car running double-parked on the street in front of her mother’s house, being she got out and ran into her mother’s house. Outside, blood was all over the street that leaked from the man’s body, but E-Dub check him, grabbing his cell-phone and wallet, then him and Jay ran back to his car and left, as the neighbors started to come out and gather around. Inside the house, Regina broke down crying and screaming at the top of her lungs. Regina instantly began to shake as she viewed the body parts of her mother butchered with a bullet hole in her head, slumped in the kitchen. The scene was horrific; there was blood splattered on the cabinets, refrigerator, walls, table, and floor. After the commotion from the sounds of guns firing, Regina’s mother’s friend came out of her house and went over to Regina’s mother’s house. And being she seen the front door wide open and heard Regina screaming, she walked inside to see what was wrong and viewed Regina crying and screaming hysterically as Regina looked at the hideous scene. She grabbed Regina and gave her a hug, then told her, Everything is going to be alright baby, let’s go! … I called the cops, as she let go of the grip she had from hugging her.

The lady guided Regina from the bloody scene to the front door as they went back outside in front of the house. Outside of the house, Regina stood there crying for about two minutes, then a swarm of police cars arrived with two ambulances. The EMT workers rushed to the body of the white man in the street; they checked his body for a pulse to see if he was alive, but he wasn’t. Detectives looked at the scene and took photographs of the body, then put tape around the man’s body. They then put small plastic cups over all the bullet shell casings. Another set of EMT workers and detectives were inside the house checking out the gruesome scene. The lady continued to comfort Regina as the cops and EMT workers did their jobs. A few cops came up to Regina while the lady was comforting her and one said, This is your family’s house, right? as he looked at Regina.

Regina stared at the cop and said, Yes! … It’s my mother’s house, and the cop said, Well, I would like to ask you a few questions, as he glanced at the lady before his attention was fully on Regina. Regina got tongue-tied for words as she got stuck in a thought, but the lady told the cop, Now is not a good time, then the cop went into his pants pocket and took out a business card and told the lady, Please make sure she calls; it’s vital to this investigation, and stepped off with the other cops.

The lady asked Regina, Is there anybody you want to call, family or friends? as she looked at Regina with tears in her eyes. Regina shook her head no, while saying, Yes, my friend Vanessa. H have no other family, as tears rolled down her eyes. The lady then asked her, Where is your cell-phone? And Regina told her, My pocket, and took it out and gave it to her. The lady called Vanessa and explained to her everything that happened. Vanessa told the lady, I’m on my way. Please look after her, and the lady said, Not a problem, she’ll be okay with me. Vanessa hung up her phone, then called Shante and when she answered, Vanessa yelled, They killed Regina’s mother! and Shante replied, You serious! Meet me over there, and both hung up.

The EMT workers outside put the white man’s body in a body bag, then on a stretcher, while the ones inside of Regina’s mother’s house gathered all of her mother’s body parts and bagged them, and the body from the waist up without her arms, then put it in a body bag. They removed the parts and the body in the body bag and brought it out to the ambulance as two other EMT workers put the white man’s body in the other ambulance that was on the scene. The cops told the EMT workers it was alright for them to leave and bring the body to the morgue. As the ambulance pulled off, Vanessa just arrived and parked her car in front of a house about three or four houses down the block.

When Vanessa reached Regina’s mother’s house, all of the cops that were there started to get in their cars and leave. She went up to Regina and hugged her as she told the lady, I’m going to keep her with me tonight and I’ll hire a cleaning service to clean whatever mess is left, okay!

The lady looked at Vanessa and nodded her head, then said, I was her mother’s closest friend, so I’ll help with the funeral arrangements, but I want you to know I live right there in that house and it’s okay for you to come by anytime, as she pointed in the direction of her house. Vanessa then said, We’ll come by tomorrow afternoon to talk and also can you keep an eye on the house? as the lady kissed Regina on the cheek before slowly walking off.

After leaving the scene of the shooting, Jay convinced E-Dub to get the hell out of Dodge and go to a female’s house he knew in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Kay told E-Dub he knew a good spot to wipe clean the guns and ditch them along the way. During the drive, Jay called Milk and told him what had occurred. Milk told Jay I taught y’all well. and asked him if he talked to Shante since.

But the time Jay got off the phone, E-Dub was just around the corner from the spot where Jay told him to go to in order for them to dump their weapons. Jay pointed in the direction of a marsh field and forest, then told E-Dub, Park right here, then wipe your shit down and put in in this Ziploc bag with mine, as he pulled over and parked. E-Dub then wiped his gun down and put it in the Ziploc bag Jay as holding with his in it. Jay said, Keep the car warm, I’ll be right back, as he got out of the E’s Dodge Charger.

Jay ran into the forest and opened a grate by the marsh field, then dropped the Ziploc bag with the guns in it, then put the grate back. He ran back to E-Dub’s car, got in, and they drove off.

Shante pulled up and double-parked by Vanessa’s Lexus. She turned her car off, took the keys out, and got out. She then ran to Regina’s mother’s house where Regina and Vanessa were closing and securing the door. Regina turned around as Shante was coming up the steps onto the porch and put her arms out, then they embraced in a hug. Shante then said, Regina, I’m real sorry; it wasn’t supposed to go this far where things would turn out this bad, as her eyes watered up and a tear trickled down her face. When Shante let go of the grip she gave from hugging Regina, she said, Me, you and Vanessa will go to my house tonight. Then Vanessa cut her convo short by saying, That’s all good, but we have to come back here in the morning to clean and look through her mother’s paperwork for her life insurance policy, as she walked down the stairs with them following right behind her. Regina’s Jeep was still double-parked in the street, so Vanessa parked it down the block, then went to her car as Shante and Regina got in Shante’s Lincoln and drove off.

E-Dub and Jay ended up in Asbury Park, New Jersey, in front of a house the belonged to a girlfriend of Jay’s named Rakeisha. They got out of the car, then went and stood in front of her door. Jay pressed the doorbell and as they waited for her to answer, Jay said to E-Dub, Yo! E, this is one of my honeycomb hideouts. Don’t tell nobody now that you know. And when she opened the door to let them in, E-Dub screamed, Damn, being he was mesmerized from her beauty.

Rakeisha was of Indian descent, standing at five feet, three inches; weighing one-sixty-five, but it showed all in her hips and ass. She had long jet-black hair that passed her waist just about an inch, and two deep dimples, as she stood there smiling, noticing it was Jay. Rakeisha said, Hey, baby! and kissed Jay on the lops. Jay replied, Sweetie, this is my boy, E-Dub; please don’t mind his outburst, but he’ll be with me for a couple of days …, as he grabbed her waist and guided her back in the house with E-Dub right behind him. Rakeisha then said, Baby! That’s the average man’s outburst when they see me. I can’t stop that, but I definitely belong to you, being I’m pregnant, as she stepped one foot forward and hugged Jay. Jay kissed her on the forehead, then told E-Dub to close and lock the door. As E-Dub closed and locked the door, he said, Yes, daddy! in a joking manner and then said, Nah, for real though, congratulations to the two of you, but my name is E-Dub and I’m sorry for the outburst … it’s just that Jay’s last girlfriend looked like Shaka Zulu’s sister, if you know what I mean, as he looked at them looking at him.

Rakeisha laughed from his last foment about Jay’s ex-girlfriend, but said, Thank you! As long as you’re here with Jay, I want you to make yourself at home … Jay will take you on a grand tour of his house and let you know what’s off limits, but he’ll take you to the guest bedroom where you’ll be sleeping, as they walked into the living room. Inside the living room, E-Dub said, Rakeisha, you have good taste; this is the nicest living room I’ve ever been in …, as he smiled. Rakeisha then replied, Why, thanks! I can’t take all the credit. I picked it out, but Jay bought it …, and laughed as E-Dub looked at Jay and said, My man! You a trick, but I understand wifey gets the best …, then shook his head up and down.

Jay stood up and picked up a remote from off of a gold-plated inn table, then said, E, you ain’t seen nothing yet, as E-Dub looked around the room before saying, You got a remote; but where’s the T.V. …, and laughed. Jay pointed his arm forward with the remote in his hand and pressed a red arrow facing up on the remote, then a sixty-inch Toshiba flat-screen television rose from out of the floor and a black curtain moved from left to right covering the four living room windows. Jay looked at E-Dub and said, That’s dope, right, then chuckled. E-Dub was in a state of shock, but he said, Damn! That’s what it is … but Rakeisha, I got one question … what kind of car do you drive? and laughed.

Rakeisha looked at Jay while saying, Baby! Should I tell him or are you gonna take him down to the garage and show him? And Jay replied, You could tell him, but I’m going to show him the garage too, then Rakeisha screamed, My baby bought me a Aston Martin, but we got quite a few luxury cars, as she took the remote from Jay and asked, Baby, can I please show him the garage through the security cam? Jay waved his hand to inform her to go ahead, then the garage popped up on the T.V. showing eight different views. E-Dub started at the T.V. screen for about forty-five seconds and said, Damn! … you got a 2014 Bentley Flying Spur, and is that a Rolls Royce? as he pointed at the screen. Then Jay said, Yeh! I got cars, a five-star studio being I do beat and marketing for rappers, and a panic room all in my basement, as he walked away waving to E-Dub to follow him.

E-Dub followed Jay to the basement where they went into the garage area first. Jay pointed and said to E-Dub, "Before you ask, you see that gate? Well, it’s electronically opened and it exits into the backyard and the entrance and exit to my
