MY HAPPINESS CREED
I, today, make this declaration:
I will never let anything interfere with my happiness again.
I will flush out all that is behind me and focus on what is ahead of me.
I am pursuing my dreams and have no time for competition or jealousy.
I will entertain only joy, love, and peace in my life to increase my happiness.
I will never entertain any drama from anyone no matter whom.
I will block all negative people and their gimmicks from my life.
I will pursue new opportunities to explore greater possibilities.
Today, I commit to living a life of passion, action, and happiness.

PREFACE
O VER THE YEARS, I have learned that happiness is a choice and that it comes from constant action, a desire to be more, a hunger for personal growth, an appreciation of life as a special gift, and a persistent desire to live life with passion. Happiness is a choice. Either you decide to be happy or not. It is already inside you, but you have to work on it. Why look outside for something that is already inside you? Be creative, and live the happiness that is already in you.
I have a passion for writing and the desire to become an author and an international motivational speaker. When I started writing, publishing books, and speaking, I found that my happiness tripled. I rarely felt sad, and I realized that finding my calling opened my happiness frequency. I always had something to look forward to, whether it was a phone call to book a speaking engagement, a book-signing arrangement, or a request to give a talk to high school or college students and many other opportunities. This has kept me happy every day, and I love the feeling.
Writing and speaking are not my professions; they are my work and my calling. To be sure, they are my calling. I had desired to sing, become an entertainer, and work other jobs; but one thing stood out inside me—the burning desire to write, speak in public, and channel the consciousness of this generation toward the path that leads to personal fulfillment. Growing up, I had a desire to write, to change lives, and to contribute to humanity using the power of motivation I carry. Doing this has made me happy in ways I never have imagined.
I have published articles in newspapers while in Nigeria, one of which, where I wrote about soccer, made national news. In other words, the desire for social contributions was paramount to my bucket list. I was incomplete, empty, and unfulfilled without it. I was unexcited without it until I began this new revolutionary movement in America, touching lives everywhere I go, building hope, promoting happiness, and imparting a mind-set of confidence in people.
When I was growing up in Nigeria, West Africa, life was a bit tough; I was limited to a world without many opportunities. Middle school and high school were not easy, but I excelled at both levels with support from my parents.
Oftentimes, I flash back to my motherland, Nigeria, West Africa, where college graduates have no jobs or are paid so little that they can’t afford the basic necessities of life. Yet I hear people in America and the Western world complain about their full-time jobs.
I hear children in America grumble because they have to wake up early to go to school or asked to eat vegetables instead of pizza.
