I acknowledge the saving grace and the tender mercy of the Father, the Son, and the blessed Holy Spirit. Father, I appreciate you for saving my soul supernaturally after a series of divine encounters to prove your love for me.

You have proven to me there is no other God beside you. There is heaven and hell, but man has a choice to make. Blessed Holy Ghost, thanks for making yourself known to me all these years putting yourself in print for all my private writing. By your grace, this has become possible.

I want to express my thanks to all who have taught me on biblical principles and on how to exercise my faith in God, living a holy life and warfare prayers. As I have built upon this foundation and studied the word, the Lord has helped me regarding how to use the scriptural verses to pray for my spiritual growth and blessings. This prayer guide is a result of the Holy Spirit teaching and guiding my understanding during quiet times with a written journal—all these years of steadfast fellowship by his grace.

I have tried to write it in a simple form to express what I have learnt for the past twenty-eight years of my steadfast walk with the Lord, despite all challengers and persecutions.

It’s my sincere hope that this prayer guide will be a great blessing to all who seek the Lord through prayers for spiritual growth.

INTRODUCTION

Overcomers are people who battle no matter what task is ahead. Someone who regains strength from weakness on the knees of prayer. They see life in a way no one else can. The key to overcoming situations in life and attaining a fulfilled destiny is to be an overcomer, using the weapons of war; with the word of God, souls can win (Eph. 6:15–17).

Praise and worship also brings down the presence of God to stir your heart to pray. The two-edge swords that is the living word severs the links between spirit and soul when strong imaginations come to thought. Having a constant focus and faith in God captivates one’s heart for victory.

For whatsoever is born of God over cometh the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith. (1 John 5:4)

God has recreated us and given us the weapon of war to inherit our possessions on the earth. The success of our earthly life depends on our commitment to God and how well, by his grace, we are able to access and explore that which is freely given to us.

It’s God desire for us to attain his plan and purpose. However, our success depends on our ability to plan and pray through the help of the Holy Spirit. We should be the prayer warriors God has called us to be. Jesus said, Can you not tarry with me for one hour? This shows how important it is to pray and fellowship with God.

Most people go on well, but some with obstacles, challenges, and breakdowns. All these happen for a reason, to sharpen people as an instrument in the hands of the Lord. Cheer up and do not allow situations to weigh you down. Divine connection to God through the blood of the Lamb is the spiritual gateway to receive the power and authority to become a battle-ax in the hand of the Lord.

He came to his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. (John 1:11–12)

Receiving Jesus Christ is through confession of sins, repentance and submission to him. Life free from sin is one of the vital keys that will enable you to live an overcomer’s life. Without freedom from sin, you will not be able to grow in grace and knowledge.

Overcomer’s are exposes to the supernatural power of God; makes you to become mighty tool in the hand of the mighty warrior. God have given ammunitions to thrust out the enemies that want to mess up with your destiny.

The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms to drive out your enemies before you, saying, Destroy them. (Deut. 33:27)

By having this perspective, you are fighting on the side of victory, and your weapons of war are from the throne room of God. You will never fail regarding all your heart’s desires. God is on your side, and you are on the winning side of victory and glory. All you must do is trust and have faith in God. Overcomers always trust God
