Mary: I will go to the Clinic tomorrow, and get this cumbersome burden over with. I will just get rid of it. Why not, the guy who made me pregnant never came back, and never even called me, ever since I told him that I had missed my "."
(Six weeks earlier)
John: Missed your what? You must be kidding. Why do you not ask other nineteen-year olds what they do under those circumstances? You know I am married, with three children and two on the way! What were you thinking? I am not going to just up and leave my family, nor am I going to divorce my wife to marry you. You must think I’m crazy!
Mary (crying): But you told me that you are going to divorce your estranged wife and marry me. John, you lied to me. You told me that you love me. You never even mentioned that you have children.
