About this ebook

This book offers a pace of hope and rest toward the struggling soul, a rest that struggles not in a comfort zone to willfully sin, but a rest from the battle to bring peace to the soul. It is my prayer that the reader will be inspired, encouraged, and challenged to find rest in Christ now and in eternality.

    Preface

The struggle between the flesh and spirit of the best Christian is very real. I, myself struggled for years in my Christian life trying to find peace with God and through these struggles I have devoted myself to put in print those studies to find I can rest in the arms of Christ Jesus my Lord and it is to Him alone I give glory and honor.

God Bless. This book offers a pace of hope and rest to the struggling soul not a comfort zone to willfully sin. And it is my prayer that the reader will be inspired, encourage and challenged to find rest and peace with and in Christ Jesus now and for eternality.

    Justification Defined

    Roman 3:21-28

The righteousness of God is neither an attribute of God, nor the changed of character of the believer, but Jesus Christ Himself, who fully and completely met in our stead and behalf every demand of the law, and who is, by the act of God called imputation (Lev.25:50; James 2:23) made us righteous 1 Cor. 1:30).

The believer in Christ is now by grace through faith is covered or shroud under so complete and bless with righteousness from which the law from Mt. Sinai cannot find fault neither condemnation. Therefore the righteousness of God by faith of which the believer in Christ Jesus is declared justified. 2 Cor 5: 21, Rom 4:6 Roman 10:4, Phil 3:9 Rom 3:26

    Chapter One

Natural of Man and The Spiritual Man

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

To clarified the subject Natural Man and Spiritual Man…Natural is that of human nature and the Spiritual concerns the soul and spirit" of mankind.

But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Satan is a strong enemy, so the Apostle Paul exhorts us to be strong in the Lord and to put on the armor of God. Satan knows that the flesh is weak (Mark 14:38); and that it can only be overcome by and in Christ’s power. In the following you will see that it is in Christ that we can live victoriously when we realize who we are in Him and in the power of His might. Because of the Cross the sacrifice that God provided those that believe are seated with Christ in heavenly places far above all principalities and powers (Eph. 1:19, 23), and that this power to overcome the struggle of the natural man is in the indwelling Holy Spirit (Eph.3:14-21).

The difference between what the flesh wants and what the spiritual man needs. The war or struggle between that which is flesh and that which is spirit. It is the battle that war against the natural man and the spiritual man.

The natural man or the Adamic nature is among the finest of the Christian in this body even though denounced, hidden away, be that of the dieing of the old man, racing through the fancies of being now made righteous; it is evident at times and under circumstances well known and is brought out to surface. The Apostle Paul stated in Romans 7:14 O wretched man that I am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this death? No greater words could had been clarified for the believer to understand as the Adamic nature leaps out causing confusion at times struggling within trying at best to live in the state of either sinless or in the state of perfectionism. This does not mean that we are not to strive to live a life that is pleasing unto God. There are things that we should and should not allow becoming believers in Christ. We are to cast off the old things of the Adamic nature putting on the new man in Christ But the point is directed by this writer that we do struggle between the flesh and the Spirit.

The nature of man (that is the fleshly minded person) seeks things in a different light to be successful. It demands full sovereignty; as it desires to attach itself with all the lusts, desires, ambitions, gratification of achievements. While the spiritual man desire to strive completely to the submission of the Holy Spirit. The motive behind the natural man is of the earth, (see, touch, taste and handle); while the spiritual man seeks by faith, growing more depended upon the Word of God, reaching forth unto the unseen yet believing through the Spirit. Total dependence upon the merit of grace and mercy of God the Father.
