ABOUT THE AUTHOR Veronique Belmar is an academic and author. Her academic career began at Middlesex University, where she studied her first and second degrees. Her first degree was in Psychology, and the second, in Health Sciences. Later, she went to Oxford University to study Science and Medicine of Athletic Performance. She completed all her studies in the United Kingdom, during which time she was a lecturer in Psychology and in Health Studies. In 2006, she decided to become a full-time writer and part-time lecturer. However, Veronique found that there was more to learn and understand in order to meet the needs of her readers and students. Many of her students were pursuing degrees in medicine. At the age of fourteen, she started reading the Holy Scriptures and health literature. As a result, she gained an understanding of the relationship between the scientific study of the human body and the spiritual aspect of God as the Creator of heaven and earth. From this experience, Veronique developed the unique perspective of a writer with multiple ideas. To date, she has written several books, including Understanding World Events in the Light of Biblical Prophecy, Gone the Days of Obesity, and Tree of Immortality. While actively engaged as an author, Veronique also serves as director for Words of Life and Health Limited, training and educating those who wish to engage in character-building and health literature. She also writes articles for magazines and journals, and in 2006, she was recognised as one of the top article writers. She was given the status of “Expert Author” and a platinum membership level. Veronique is also a filmmaker. In 2009, she wrote, produced, and directed a short film entitled Missionary’s Soul. Veronique will be releasing her feature film Rebellion and War in Heaven shortly.

FOREWORD

The sky blazes in glory, chariot wheels are rumbling, trumpeters blast their sound, angels fly to the earth in power and glory, escorting the resurrected ones. Those who never died are caught up with them in the air, but those left behind run to the mountains and rocks, crying out, Fall on us! They run from the glory and the face of Omnipotent Power in the sky.

I encourage, give enthusiasm, and write. I ask authors to write about what they believe in. I help them structure their work, especially when their writings are about giving hope to others. I have been writing for quite some time. I have written books about the past, present, and the future. My task is to encourage and help authors with their writing career. My writing is biblical and health based. Authors I have worked with in this field go on to be successful.

I have known the author of this book for quite a while. We first met abroad, then in the United Kingdom. Therefore, I have learnt a lot about the author. She is passionate about her work and strongly believes in what she writes. She does not only believe in her writing but practices what she writes about. Her writing passion is based on character building, health, and screenplays. At University, the author first studied psychology, then later returned to study health sciences. It is noticeable to me that the author enjoys helping others. She has dedicated most of her working life to encouraging, supporting, helping, and bringing happiness to many.

Her kindness to others has not only brought the author joy and happiness, but also pain and sorrows. That is because she has been let down by some she loved and cared for. Yet she ceased not from helping and caring for others. The author is very inspirational to me. It is a delight being around her. I feel at peace whenever I am with her and when I read her work. I am hoping that you will be inspired by her writing as I have been.

The author’s latest book, The Evils of City Life: Preparing for God’s End Times, is thought provoking. It is an in-depth study and analysis of a biblical fact. It deals extensively with fundamental issues, and you will learn about a lot of evils that can be seen in great cities today.
