This is a real Thanksgiving story. On Friday, the next day of Thanksgiving, Zoes mother took Zoe to the busy airport, carrying a big box of used clothes. Zoe, who was holding on to her moms coat, not to get lost, heard a squeaky noise that she interpreted as Zoe, Zoe, Zoe. Then she saw a beautiful puppy in a cage that read Pierre. Accidentally, she followed the lady pulling the dogs cage. Zoe was so tired, so she jumped on a passenger cart to continue following the cage. From far away she saw when her mom gave the box to the lady of the cage and the lady gave her mom Pierres cage. To know the rest of this sweet, lovely adventure you need to read this book. Este cuento es realmente una aventura del Dia de Accin de Gracias. El viernes, el prximo dia de Accin de Gracias, la mam de Zo se fue al aeropuerto cargando una caja grande de ropa usada. Zo quien caminaba rpido sugetndose del abrigo de su mam para no perderse, escuch unos chirridos que ella interpret como, Zo, Zo, Zo. Entonces ella vi un bello perrito en una jaula que deca PIERRE.. Accidentalmente ella sigui a la seora que jalaba la jaula de Pierre. Zo estaba tan cansada que cuando vi un carrito de transportar pasajeros, se subi en l para seguir persiguiendo al perrito. A lo lejos ella vi cuando su mam le dio la caja a la seora que tenia a Pierre y la seora le dio a su mam la jaula con Pierre. Para saber el resto de sta dulce y amorosa aventura usted tiene que leer este libro. Zo, Pierre y toda la familia fueron felices por toda una eternidad.

Edia L. Velez

Edia L. Velez was born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico. She moved to the United States during 1960, graduated from Houston Baptist University, and taught elementary bilingual education at Houston Independent School District (HISD). She graduated from the Institute of Children’s Literature in Connecticut. In 2001 she retired from the US Department of Education in Washington, DC, where she worked for eleven years. She has published four bilingual books for children: Jessica’s Summer Vacation (Las vacaciones de verano de Jéssica), The Tale of Bad Guts and Bad Blood (El cuento de Mala Entrañita y de Mala Sangre), and Zoe Meets Pierre (Zoé conoce a Pierre). Edia has two daughters, Edia Zoe Lugo Husband and Lynette Lugo Petrie; a son, David Lugo, married to Mónica; and five grandchildren. Her hobbies are writing for children, gardening, and reading. She lives in Buda, Texas. Edia L. Velez nació en San Sebastian, Puerto Rico. Ella se mudó a los Estados Unidos durante los 1960. Se graduó de Houston Baptist University. Enseñó escuela elemental bilingue en Houston Independent School District (HISD). Se graduó del “Institute of Children’s Literature” en Connecticut. En 2001, se retiró del Departamento de Educación de los Estados Unidos de America en Washington, DC, en donde trabajó por once años. Ella ha publicado cuatro libros bilingues para niños: Jessica’s Summer Vacation, (Las vacaciones de verano de Jéssica), segundo, The Tale of Bad Guts and Bad Blood (El cuento de Mala Entrañita y de Mala Sangre), tercero, Lynette’s Untouchable Bubble (Lynette y su Burbuja Intocable), y cuarto, Zoe Meets Pierre (Zoé Conoce a Pierre). Ella tiene dos hijas, Edia Zoé Lugo Husband y Lynette Lugo Petrie, y su hijo David Lugo, casado con Mónica, y cinco nietos. Su entretenimiento favorito es escribir para niños, trabajar en su jardín, y leer. Ella vive en Buda, Texas.
