Ana Paola Alba Amador
Ana Paola, eleven years old, is one of the youngest writers in México. After two books published in Spanish—El Misterio del Crufix and El Origen del Crufix—she decided to write her first story in English, Dreaming Hooves. After finishing it, she continued with the Spanish version, Soñando con Pezuñas. She also did the drawings of the cover and the inside figures. The final result is this wonderful bilingual book. Ana Paola is actually in the fifth grade of elementary school in JFK The American School of Querétaro.

PROLOGUE
Francis of Assisi wrote his magnum opus, Blessings of the Animals, as a reminder that the earth is our private common home, a sister with whom we share experience and a beautiful mother who welcomes us into her arms.
It reminds us that we ourselves are of the earth: it shapes us, its air gives us breath, and its water, clean and pure, restores us. To everyone’s surprise, the earth and its creatures survive countless abuse as their cries accompany the world’s abandoned souls.
Dreaming Hooves is a magical book that advocates for an increasing openness and sensitivity to the environment and the care of its creatures. Dreaming Hooves gives us a message of solidarity through Infinity and Time, the majestic horses in custody of Tony. They work together against the greedy men.
As in other books, Ana Paola continues to surprise us with her creative narrative and her sensitive response to the challenges faced in the solid construction of a common home.
