As believers, we must know that we are engaged in the fiercest of all battles. We are not doing battles with flesh and blood. That means, our battles and spiritual struggles is not against fellow believers. Our battle is with the god of this world - Satan, and is directed against the evil spirits behind every wrong action that manifests in our lives.

Since Satan seems to be more knowledgeable and powerful than we are, God has provided a way for us to escape, conquer, and defeat him in every spiritual battle, and that way is through our putting on of the whole armour He has provided.

The kingdom of God has been likened to a sower who went out to sow, and some seed fell on different ground. It has also been described as a treasure hidden, in addition to having been called a mystery. What then does this mean?

In Proverbs 25:2, we are told that it is the glory of God to conceal a thing; but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.
