FOREWORD
Ron Coppock has served as a pastor for 44 years. He and his wonderful wife Roberta have served faithfully and effectively in churches, associations, state conventions and community endeavors. The Coppock family including 4 married children, 12 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren have contributed to the advancement of the Kingdom of God.
Pastor Coppock’s treatise on John 13 challenges modern believers to genuine servanthood. He employs exegetical skills to delineate servanthood and personal experiences to illustrate it.
Humble servanthood as prescribed in John 13 remains a vibrant aspect of the Christian life and forms the main emphasis of Pastor Coppock’s presentation. A humble servant of the Lord Jesus Christ is a servant that He can use to take His Gospel to the ends of the earth.

As I start writing this book on foot-washing, I recall reading the book called First John. In his audience, John included little children, fathers, and young men. (1 John 2:12-14)
I will try to make these chapters understandable, even interesting to the body of Christ. I write these things to help believers with a very neglected passage. (John 13:1-17) Some of my brothers in ministry have no idea what they believe on the subject of foot-washing. Others purposefully have neglected it.
When I have had the incredible privilege of leading someone to faith in Christ, I always introduce them to the gospel of John. After all, the theme and purpose of John’s gospel is to help every believer to "believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His
