    DISCLAIMER

This book is compiled of my blog posts ‘thoughtloomblog.wordpress.com’. This book is a self- help book which answer the biggest question of human mind ‘who am I’? It not only gives a fresh look to this mind boggling question but many other questions related to it. This book is an easy read but answers many deep philosophical queries rising on the mind daily.

This book is a genuine attempt of clarity and understanding of what is soul and we souls play various roles in a given lifetime. It also talks about thought process. This book does not contradict any faiths, beliefs, any religion, religious practice, or any culture, cultural heritage, of the world. This book also does not ask any person to change their religion, culture, faiths or beliefs. It only asks the readers to find some logical reasoning in how their daily lives can become smooth through positive thinking. A few posts talk about God with a request to read them with an open mind. There had been many misconceptions on who is God, his existence, his role in human lives and so on. So this book is an attempt to explain such complex subjects to logical, understandable explanations.

    PREFACE

    Love to all my readers!

As mentioned earlier this book is a compilation of my blog. It is my journey towards a unique path which I stepped on 9 years back, with the ultimate fact of life -‘death of a loved one’. After sinking in this trauma for months, I pulled myself to know about the cruelty of death and cycle of life. Days became weeks and weeks became months, it took me two and half year to get the clarity of the subject with some added information.

The knowledge I gained from some great thinkers of the world, reading Socrates to Ramkrishan Paramhans, Swami Vivekananda, and Yogananda Paramahansa, I also heard some talks from BKWSU. Reading and hearing encouraged me implement it in in my daily life. I would start from the simplest way one thing at a time. Do it for weeks and see the results.

As I was doing this I realized that I wasn’t actually following any talks or any books or any audio recordings but I was following my own gut feelings, doing things which made me and people around me at peace, happy and loved. This was very elementary at level but the most effective way of a happy living.

I was treating people the way I wanted them to treat me!

Absolutely true! I just implemented this basic information in my life and things turned 180 degrees for me. I felt happy, my folks felt happy, my outlook changed from being a victim to my own master. By giving respect, I gained respect, by giving trust, I gained trust. You name it and I got it. Love, happiness, peace, power, purity, all of them were hidden in some corner of my consciousness but emerged as soon as I started using them.

It is a self- help book which emphasizes on how simply one can change one’s life by just thinking the positive way. Simply treat others the way you want them to treat you and see how soon conflicts change into harmonious relations. This book explains the mostly simple everyday life and helps readers take something positive from it to imply it in their lives and see miracles happening.

My journey and my transformation are both self- explanatory, simple and effortless. Some of the articles are from my first book titled ‘Inception of our minds’- which talks deep about kinds of thoughts and its effect on our relationships. Any copied post from there is mentioned at the beginning of the chapter. There are a few poems in this book which at times is to summarize the series of the topic.

Like any other self- help book it does talk about my journey towards spiritual growth but it emphasizes more on adapting things from there and using them in everyday life and then seeing the changes. It simplifies very complex issues like Karmas, God, fear of death, and many more into guided path of reality and acceptance. I sincerely hope that you all enjoy this book and take your choice of food from this unique platter filled with delicious, gourmet dishes of deep thoughts.

    My Humble Regards!

    WAKING UP

Hi! I go by Ahsinam. 7 years ago, my father passed away at the undeserving young age of 69. The only thing left of his essence was his photograph framed on the wall. He was there beside me one day, and lost forever the next. Life began to slowly drag along as before, but I felt a change in myself. At times I would feel unadulterated rage at one and all for stealing the one person who always believed in me away from me. At other times I would feel like a vacuum of guilt, taking in all the blame and flinging it on myself. So many things were left unsaid. So much I should have, could have done. I began to question the average life I was living, on a constant hunt for success and societal acceptance. If life could be stolen away from me without a moment’s notice, what did it all really matter? That is when I asked myself the question that would change my life forever – what is my purpose here in this life?

What exactly happens when one person dies? Where does one go? Beyond what becomes of their body, what becomes of their mind, their soul, if you will? How does this very same soul
