Every Praise to my God!
Biography
When there was no one else, there was God. When I really needed someone and no human came to my side, there was God. Therefore, the only one I truly can honor is the Savior of my soul.
To my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
Maker of heaven and earth
Alpha and Omega
The Beginning and The End
King of kings and Lord of lords
This is the one who went to the cross and took all my sins and died for me, so that I might have life and life more abundantly.
When I think of the goodness of Jesus, and all He has done for me, my soul cries, Hallelujah, I thank God for saving me.
All praises, glory, and honor goes to God! Amen.
What is a thorn? A hard, sharp point, sticking out from the stem of certain plants. A thorn is a stiff, sharp-pointed, straight or curved, woody projection on the stem or other part of a plant. A sharp excrescence on a plant, especially a sharp-pointed aborted branch, spine, prickle, any tenacious cause of hurt, irritation, worry, etc. Thorn in one’s flesh/side—a continual cause of annoyance. A rosebush is full of thorns. Now see that same stem inside of your head. Paul stated in 2 Corinthians 12 that he had a thorn in his flesh (or side), and I can see that, but let’s talk about the head. What happens when the thorn is in your head? That is, your head is the target. How would this affect anything/everything? Or would it? First of all in Paul’s case, this thorn came because of the abundance of revelation Paul had received. Until a person has an abundance of revelations similar to what Paul had, he is not going to have a thorn.
Do you realize how precious life is?
December 2009
I experienced something in my own life. Here today and then what? You asked what is the what? Present or absent! Which am I? The roll has been called, and I answered present, or did I?
Did I too have an abundance of revelation? I do know that I too had a thorn—a thorn that sneaked without getting an invitation. Can you imagine riding high and sitting in the chair that you were given? And suddenly, the chair is not moved from under you but swimming instead. That is the day that my chair became my pain.
No matter who you are, pain is real. No one welcomes pain. Pain comes in all sizes, shapes, and colors. There is so much to be said about pain but yet so little. Pain is not a subject that one would like to sit down at the dinner table to discuss or focus on. The truth of the matter is, one would rather forget it if possible. I would, but I can’t, or can I?
What is PAIN? A physical or mental suffering, distress, hurt. What if your pain fitted the whole definition?
The pain I suffered was both physical (couldn’t go to church), mental (it affected my thinking and memory), distress (mind and body), and hurt (damage and disfigured brain tissues).
Swimming chair in the beginning was no pain. Just because there is no pain in the forefront doesn’t mean it is not present. Pain could be lurking in cracks not seen or felt. Are you there? And I don’t know to ask? Better yet who are you? What do you want, or what are you trying to do? Why are you here, and what is your purpose in my life?
Come, let us reason together if we can.
Finished my shift at work that night; everything went well. Tidy up the store, in other words, left the store visitor-ready. Locked the store, drove to the bank to make my
