Rosaria Wills was born and raised in Naples, Italy. She met her husband, Dave, while he was serving in the air force. They moved to Florida, and she graduated from Rollins College. She spent six years with her husband in Germany, teaching for the department of defense. She is still currently teaching prealgebra in Longwood, Florida.

CHAPTER 1
The Leaf Of Nettle
M ary went walking in the countryside, she was so happy and she was picking up flowers that were growing next to the river. She had quite a bit of flowers, carnations, daises and so on. She wanted to add a branch of leaves with very small thorns, so she reached out to pick up the branch and the thorns went into her hand. The hand was burning. Mary started crying and the flowers fell down. The flowers had no fault into this. Mary kept screaming Fire, fire
. There was no fire; only a small nettle plant with a bunch of thorns that made her hand all red.
CHAPTER 2
The Flower That Was Very Thirsty
A flower find itself next to a field. She was thirsty and asked to a root to help her. The root asked help to the near earth and said, Dear earth, please give me some shadow and water for my friend, the flower.
The root said, I am sorry, I have nothing to give you. I am also thirsty and need water. Ask God to send us some water
.
The flower looked up in the sky, waited for a while and saw a cloud and she said, Please cloud, give me some water, I am so thirsty.
The little cloud right away send some drops of rain to the thirsty flower.
The earth felt refreshed, the root was happy, and the flower stood up straight.
The water from the kind cloud had given life to everyone on earth.
CHAPTER 3
The Small Leaf In The River
A leaf was laying on top of the branch next to the sun. One day she said goodbye to the tree, to the branch and to the sky.
The wind took the leaf, and carried it next to the river. The little leaf was floating in the water like a boat. Now a butterfly laid on top of it because she was tired and had gone from flower to flower.
The leaf was happy to help the butterfly, and since they were both tired, the leaf decided to carry the butterfly all the way down the river, rested and happy.
CHAPTER 4
The Leaf That Looked Like An Umbrella
T wo ants hided underneath a large leaf, that the wind had taken off the branch of a tree.
They were waiting for the rain to stop so they could leave the umbrella under which they were hiding.
You can stay as long as you wish,
said the kind leaf.
Thank you, my dear friend,
said the ants.
They waited and waited till the rain stopped. They got out from under the leaf and went quickly back to their home, and they could only think kind things of the generous leaf, made in a shape of an umbrella.
CHAPTER 5
The Egg
A chicken, her name was Red was laying under a tree ready to lay an egg. After a while she got up, coccode, coccode. A White chicken answered back. Then here comes a Black chicken, she comes from where the pigs live. Every chicken is looking for a place, a solitary place, where they can lay eggs in peace.
Then they get all together and start singing, without looking anymore to the little egg that they had just laid.
They know that their owner, Lisa will come around and pick the eggs, looking all over the place, since chickens like to hide their eggs.
Two ducks were walking next to the chicken and say, Dear friends, you have done a good job laying these eggs, but we have also laid some eggs,
and saying so they walked away.
CHAPTER 6
The Spider With Long Legs.
U nderneath the roof there was a plant, that during the winter had grey leaves, and also some flowers that were as soft as silk. Attached to it there was a spider, colored golden. This spider, whose name is Long Legs, is tired to do his webs all of silver and gold. He is cold and wants to rest nicely while waiting for springtime.
She is a mother that sleeps during the winter in a warm little house, so that her children are warm, all little spiders. One day the mother spider gave some eggs that would open as soon as the sun came out. So the little baby spiders were born, and they left to do their job as they were supposed to do.
Mother Long Legs will remain all by herself on the branch of the tree, but she will be happy because her children will work very hard on their web, as soon as the warm spring would come along.
CHAPTER 7
A Rose Has Bloomed
A nn had a vase, and in the vase there was a plant, a rose plant. That was her whole garden, only in that vase. The girl would put water in it, move the dirt, slowly, so not to hurt the rose and the roots.
One morning she found between the leaves a little blossom shaped as a little heart that you could barely see.
The blossom became bigger, and one day it opened and there was a rose, a beautiful rose, with petals made out of satin.
A beautiful rose had been born. Ann was so happy, looked at the flower and gave it to her parents to make them as happy as she was. She was sure that more would soon come.
CHAPTER 8
The Violet And Her Perfume
F airy Spring has brought with her a large box full of delicate smell.
I will give this smell to the flower that is the kindest,
she said.
The flowers all came one by one to meet her.
First was the Primula, I am beautiful, my petals look like silk, you should give me the perfume.
Fairy Spring send her back to the tree, No, you do not need the perfume from me,
she said.
Then came Pratolina, and she said, How about me, I am the queen of the garden, I should have the perfume, look at my petals, look at my heart made out of gold, it looks like a little star.
No, sorry, you also do not deserve my perfume,
said Fairy Spring.
The violet was very quiet and hiding. Fairy Spring went next to her and said, And you, violet, you are not saying anything?
I am happy that God has given me what I have and I don’t ask for anymore,
answered the little flower.
You violet are good and gentle. I will give you my perfume,
said Fairy Spring, and she opened the box and gave her the delicate perfume.
CHAPTER 9
A Poisonous Leaf
D o you want to know what happens to a little duck that likes all kind of foods and does not obey to anyone? While her mother was taking care of the house, Little Duck ran out of the house towards a plant full of pink flowers, and she decided to taste a little leaf, it was long, and narrow, her mother had told her many times not to touch that leaf because it was poisonous. Little Duck took the leaf and ate it.
During the night, she did not want to play with her sisters, she did not feel
