Joey and Parker: A Tail of Two Cats
()
About this ebook
The author has a chronic illness which is no laughing matter. And yet some funny things have happened along the way, and the cats want to have their say. It is said that laughter is the best medicine. This book was written in good taste. However, it is not all fun and games.
As a serious advocate for a cure for Parkinsons disease, I felt compelled to add a chapter of my own and briefly but hopefully and effectively get on my soapbox for increased medical research funding for all diseases. Overall, this is a fun picture book intended to provide you with some lighthearted moments. Enjoy.

Image_004.jpgI wrote this book on behalf of the kittens and cats who have owners afflicted with Parkinson’s disease or other chronic illnesses so everyone will know what pets go through. People with chronic illnesses have in common some difficulties and adjustments to make in daily life. Kittens and cats must also make adjustments.
This cat is an advocate for a cure for Parkinson’s disease. Sure, cats may be aloof and laid back, but it is not just dogs who are man’s best friend. Read on.
Patti and I met at an animal shelter on Saturday, July 3, 1999. Although it was the day before Independence Day, Patti gave me my freedom a day early as she decided to adopt me.
I saw her looking around at all the other cages and kneeling to check out some of the other kittens and cats. I heard her say she wanted a female kitten. Patti, how sexist of you. I heard of people preferring kittens over cats. Fine with me, as I was a kitten. But preferring a female to a male. I was more
