Clouds in Twilight

About this ebook
All of the people and the dogs were real. Now being deceased. So the title Clouds in Twilight seems most fitting, to convey the depth of emotion that the author felt while composing each poem.
The author invites you to use your imagination a bit, if you cannot relate personally. But she believes you can as there is something here for everyone.
You may askare there more? She can assure you that there are many more.
Mary Churchwell
Mary Churchwell was born and raised in Oklahoma. She has written poetry and short stories since the age of twelve. In the ’70s, she wrote several songs and in the ’80s coauthored a book. In recent years, she has continued to write songs. And today, most recently, a song she wrote has been recorded by country singer, Jewell King. Mary is an animal lover. And many of the poems in this book were written about her beloved dogs. She also makes audio stories. And is currently working on a play. Mary has lived in other states, including Florida, Texas, and Oregon. But today, she lives in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, with her dog, Brother Troubles.

Lord, when it’s my time, I’ve only one request
It’s all I need, to give me peace and rest.
I don’t need the streets paved in gold
Nor diamonds and rubies to admire and hold
Just all the little angels, I found down here
All
