A Haiku is a Japanese style of poem. It consists of 3 lines and a total of 17 syllables. The first line has 5 syllables, the second has 7 and the third has 5.

The poems often focus on nature and are simple and intense.

It is believed that they originated in the thirteenth century and were used as an opening for an oral poem called Renga.

Haiku tries to focus on provocative colorful images and that is what I have tried to bring into this book.
