About this ebook

What does it mean to build an authentic platform and transcend the lower matrix? Those of you who have already started the journey toward self-awareness might answer quickly, feeling confident that you know the answer. Others of you might hesitate. Enlightenment is a journey; not a destination. Growth happens. Beliefs come and go, to be replaced by newer ideas and concepts. Being rigid is easy, but being fluid, open, flexible, awake and aware requires tremendous emotional, spiritual, and mental strength and courage. The true Seeker welcomes the challenge of new ideas and knows that the experience is the gift.

This book is designed to challenge and expand your ideas about yourself and your world. I call it a manual for the graduating class because when the soul reaches the mature or old soul age, it realizes that it is time to prepare for the journey back Home. The reintegration of our many selves, strewn by reincarnation through time/space, is an important step in the re-empowering of the present-day self. Through the process of conscious soul retrieval, we create a new authentic platform, and learn to trust the self.

    FOREWORD

As I ponder how to introduce this book, I think the best method might be to state first what this book is not. This book is not designed to tell you what to believe. It is not meant to be a way to judge whether you are enlightened. There are no scales that rate your spirituality; or people to give your power to. This book is not a scholarly treatise on one area of expertise.

The intention of this book is to challenge your current belief systems. It encourages you to find the answers within; and to collect the fragments of your soul that you’ve scattered throughout time and space. This book is about authenticating your life, for you, and assisting you to find your own truth.

Some of you who pick up this book will put it down right away, maybe to be reconsidered at a later date. Others will make it through Section One, but will hesitate when it comes to contemplating the topics presented in Section Two or Three. Others of you will make it through all three sections and consider the exercises at the end of each chapter an interesting challenge that supports your growth. Any belief system should be able to withstand questioning without resistance; if your belief systems feel threatened it stands to reason that they probably need a deeper look. Perhaps they weren’t as solidly placed on your authentic platform of truth as you thought they were. Being flexible and willing to consider new ideas and theories is what keeps the spirit alive.

Some of you will know everything that is presented in here; and feel very comfortable with the ideas. Perhaps you will draw solace from the fact that someone else shares your perspective on things. Some of you will know much of this material, and yet be astonished to research a new area that you hadn’t heard of.

I am writing this book to assist all of us to expand and grow comfortable with a new paradigm of thinking and being. This book is designed to stimulate you; not to tell you what to believe. Becoming authentic is a tough job, but what other choice do you have? You are a unique expression of life, and your experiences define who it is you are. Be proud of what you have experienced, because it taught you. Be humble, but not humiliated. Be clear, but not strident. Be kind, but not a push-over. The world needs your authentic truth.

The Journey to Know Thyself, Brings you to God

    Introduction: Building an Authentic Platform

What does it mean to build an authentic platform? To me, it means that you have freed yourself from old beliefs that no longer fit. It means that even though your mother, father, sister, brother, friends and relatives all believe something different than you do, you are brave enough to hold to your version of reality, or truth, in the face of their opposition. I have discovered through my own journey that until we are able to define ourselves based on our soul’s truth we feel lost, unsupported, disconnected from God and other people, and more like robots than creative thinkers.

What does it mean to be the graduating class? That, of course, is open to debate. However, my definition is three-fold. First, you have learned to look at life as a series of experiences that reflect your karma, and the lessons you need most to learn. You have learned to ask, What is the gift, lesson and blessing in this event, and how can I use the experience to enrich my soul’s growth? Second, it means that you are nearing the end of your soul’s journey on the Earth, and have begun to collect the pieces of yourself you left behind throughout time/space. It means you are not concerned with merely getting through life, but integrating the many pieces and parts of yourself throughout many incarnations. Third, it means you have come to understand that fear blocks the Light of God, but that you must go through the fear and darkness, to reach the other side in a state of Mastery.

Most of you already know how difficult it is to find authentic truth; or to speak up when you have a difference of opinion. If our point of view makes other people uncomfortable, we have been taught to shut up and go along with the crowd. We are programmed not to make waves. Many people share the fear of being judged, or called crazy by others. We have a myriad of reasons for stifling our truth. But, when we hold our tongue, and swallow our opinions, too often we become resentful and angry. If you feel like you are trapped in a family where you will be judged for speaking out; and then judged as resentful and rigid and always seeming angry when you hold your tongue, you are not alone. There are many people who feel that those around them take up more than 50% of the room. But, for a myriad of reasons, sometimes financial, sometimes because they fear conflict, sometimes because they think they will go to hell, these frustrated and timid people accept only 25% of the room and allow others around them to own 75%.

Many times we are also afraid to make mistakes and change our point of view. We feel that if we don’t know everything we should not speak at all. Rigid minds hold a room captive; flexible minds free up creative thinkers to question the nature of reality. I was merely a sixteen-year-old teenager when I said to my father, Dad, we define our reality by our five senses. We limit our understanding of the nature of reality because our five senses are limited. But, what if we had a sixth sense that could pick up other vibrations or information? Wouldn’t our reality change if that was so?

So, as you can see, I have been asking these types of questions all my life. I am going to personalize this book from time-to-time because I want you to understand that I have done this journey and continue to do this journey. Of course, this book, as all my books do, reflects my point of view and who I am. But, I want you to realize that I am not asking you to do something I have not myself experienced or questioned. My family was atheist/agnostic and although I never liked organized religion, believing that it was more about control than liberation, I was always spiritual. When I was a four years old I sent in a crayon drawing to the Romper Room bulletin board that showed a bully pushing over an angel. It read, Never push an angel! A belief I still hold; and those who know me will attest to that! Many of you will have the opposite experience than I have had. You will have been born into a strict religious upbringing and you questioned yourself away from it, or perhaps into another religion altogether. A friend of mine has a name for it: Recovering Catholic. By, that she means that she freed herself from the fear, fire and damnation that the Catholic Church held over her as a child. You might have a different experience than she has had; and that’s your right. That’s your truth.

If you feel that you have a dearth of people in your life with whom you can explore some out there feelings, thoughts and truths it might be time to change your friendships. If you feel that people are continually taking up more space with their beliefs being foisted upon you, then maybe it’s time to speak up and even the energy in the room. However, that must always be done with kindness, respect and a gentle, but firm, request for room for your soul to exist in the home, office or coffee house. Resentment and anger is not the solution to the problem. Loving kindness does not mean being a push-over. Learn to be loving, but firm, with those who deny you a space to speak your truth.

So, I have good news for you. In this book you are not only free to question the nature of reality; you are encouraged. You are encouraged to stretch and expand and question; and nobody is going to judge you. You are in charge of the experience; and you will determine what you believe to be true. And then, you will honor and respect your truth.

The reason for this is simple. The history of the world is people fighting over their truth; and killing others who don’t fall in line with it. Henry VIII, and his daughter Queen Mary, are a perfect example of that control. The populace was continually forced to change their religious beliefs or face an often gruesome death. Protestant and Catholic leaders kept the people in fear as they switched back and forth declaring that anyone who believed differently would be beheaded or burned. This is one tiny example of a history of world domination by leaders who take away the general population’s right to question authority and make their own beliefs real for themselves.

It is happening today as you all know. Even in Myanmar (Burma) there are Buddhist monks who are ruthlessly killing Muslim families. It appears that religion has been the largest cause of suffering and war. It is time for us to self-actualize. It is time for us to feel God in our hearts if we choose to do so; to ask ourselves if God exists, then what is God to me? That is why religion is the first topic that this exercise book addresses. Because religion is something which has dominated the world for thousands of years.

The second theme of the book will be secular: questioning the truth of government, laws, war, and the agendas that are being set down for us. We will tackle the idea of Transhumanism which has taken hold and ask ourselves what we feel about it.

Again, there are no right answers, but I will present ideas and information and ask you to think deeply about what you are feeling as you read.

Thirdly, the book asks questions about aliens, UFOs, the Moon and some of the strange anomalies that have been uncovered on the Earth which do not fit into what we have been historically told about the planet. And finally, you will be given the opportunity to integrate these ideas into a framework for yourself. A platform of authentic truth that frees you, and those around you from the old paradigms, and assists you to create a new one.

    SECTION ONE

    RELIGION and SPIRITUALITY

    CHAPTER ONE

    Jesus and other Religious Figures

One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious. The latter procedure, however, is disagreeable, and therefore not popular. - Carl Jung.

I like your Christ, but I dislike your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ. – Mahatma Gandhi (or to paraphrase: I like Christ, but his fan club, not so much.)

Are we on the verge of salvation or damnation? These days it all depends on who you listen to. Politicians and pundits pontificate, evangelical preachers prophesize, and the rest of us scratch our heads and try to make some sense out of all the information we are presented. Those who remember their own karmic past, and are well versed in historical passages of time, will often sum it all up with the old adage: Same sh…t, different day.

We are raised within a religious system: Christian, Jewish, Atheist, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, Mormon, Jehovah Witness and so forth. That system of belief defines what we think of God, and it is rare for an individual to question it. We are also raised within a culture, and the culture defines our behavior and beliefs as well. Patriarchies and Matriarchies are very different in their defining of women’s roles, and the rearing of children. Few of us remember our past lives in a Matriarchal society; and the Patriarchy has ruled for so long that we take for granted that it is the way things are and always have been. Men and Woman define themselves within their cultural constraints, and those who challenge these cultural boundaries; for example, a homosexual in a strictly heterosexual environment, or a person who dares to dress differently from those around them, risk bullying and even punishment by death. We are, it seems, by nature, very tribal. The tribe we are born in defines our roles, and we generally try very hard to mold ourselves into the people our tribe wants us to be. If we do this well, success follows. Love follows. If we do this poorly, a life on the outside is the punishment we engender.

Given this truth, it is no wonder that we rarely dare to think for ourselves, question our elders, or friends, or protest against an established way of life. To do so can be both emotionally and physically dangerous. There is a term: Controlled opposition. I want you to think about that idea. What is controlled opposition? It is often the appearance of change, or the giving in to small grievances to pacify the protester. If you want a law to be passed, or something in society to be altered, and I tell you that you will see big Change when I am in office, you will feel happy. Oh boy! you shout; someone is on my side. If I continue to say that I support your beliefs, and say to you, don’t worry you will see a difference, very often I can pacify you for a long time. If many people are willing to just lie down and let others rule them, I can pacify you, and at the same time I can, in fact, work against you. That is controlled opposition.

Another form of controlled opposition is used a great deal on the internet. Often a program of controlled opposition uses the tactic to pepper truth within a program of falsehoods. You get people to believe a lie you want them to believe by combining it with a truthful statement. This is a way of controlling truth and also pacifying the opposition. For example, let’s say that I want my audience to believe that human beings will be saved by divine intervention, so you will become passive and not take charge, then I am going to combine this idea with things I know will draw in those people I am targeting. I will tailor my message of divine intervention to my audience. I have to remember that not everyone will respond to the same message; but everyone can be taken in somehow. In fact, it is quite a simple task to create a Messiah out of a politician, a religious leader, an activist, an Extraterrestrial, a rock star, or a New Age savior. If I do this well enough I can continue to release radiation into the Pacific Ocean via the Fukushima disaster, create mass extinction for animals and plants at the rate of dozens going extinct every day, or create more and more children who are homeless and have no food, or future, without people seeing it. To top it off, if my outside message is what people want to hear, they will ignore the reality around them; or paint it in a rosier picture because it soothes them. I call this phenomenon, Hansel and Gretel Candy Houses, and everyone from politicians, to religious leaders, to New Age gurus build these houses to lure in the innocent. Just like in the fairy tale, the outside may be sugar and cookies, but
