I received a simple hey in Messenger, and I ignored it for a few days, thinking, who the fuck is this? I also had a friend request but had not accepted it either. So I asked, Do I know you? And he replied that he was looking for a friend to chat with. I noticed that his spelling of simple English words was bad (first bad sign).

He wanted someone he could trust and chat with. I asked how he came across me, and he claimed he saw my pretty face. He told me he googled my name. He did.

I did and did not realize it had all the stuff about my birth name, my married names, when I was saved by a fireman, and so on. I googled my name, and there were five pages with my name associated on all of them.

I Was Scammanced! (a combination of Scammed & Romanced)

I received a simple Messenger hey and I ignored it for a few days, thinking who the fuck is this? I had a friend request also but had not accepted it either. So I asked, Do I know you? And he replied that he was looking for a friend to chart with. I noticed that his spelling of simple English words was bad (first bad sign). He wanted someone he could trust and chat with. I asked how did he come across me, and he claimed he saw my pretty face. He told me he googled my name. He did.

I did and did not realize it had all the stuff about my birth name, my married names, when I was saved by a fireman, and so on. I googled my name, and there were five pages with my name associated on all of them.

The first time we video-chatted, he sounded like a black African, and I told him so, and that he was a scammer. His voice did not match his face on his FB profile. He protested over and over that he was a white man and he was not a scammer. He was looking for a wife.

He told me he was a five-star general (five-star general second-in-command with his own team of workers) working in a war camp in Syria for the UN. The UN pays them one time into a fess account, and he had no access to it (second bad sign). He was a widower, and his wife and son died in a car accident seven years ago, no parents or other relatives, he is alone in this word (world). Then he became very convincing until …

they gave me an estimate good til 09-2016 giving the leak time to progress … smdh
