    (Oct. 3, 1926 – Oct. 3, 1996)

    Cherokee Indian, a peaceful man, a kind and generous man and most of all a man of God. Case in point at his funeral service behind us. Being the family seated in front of the Altar of our church one of the seats we’re empty. We were concerned, for his friends we’re seated behind this section. Stunned is the only word I can use to describe our emotion when the children from the St. John the Baptist Church School marched in to be seated. You see, they insisted in attending the funeral for He was a friend of theirs, and read poetry to them on many occasions, this we never heard about. Tommy Lee Holland was truly the greatest man in my life, and always will be.

    Love you Dad,

    See you Soon Chris.

    WHAT IT’S ABOUT

    To find what life is all about,

    One must examine well

    Things to be done by you alone

    To catch its mystic spell

    Search not for what you shall receive,

    Or meager will be your lot;

    Pour out yourself as water on sand

    Then ye shall want not.

    If you’ll offer to all your mind, your heart,

    And face life’s joy and strife;

    Then it matters not what life gives you,

    What matters is what you gave to life.
