    ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

Over my thirty-year career of teaching mainly specialty subjects in many schools, I had the unique privilege of meeting all the students of those schools, one class at a time.

Thank you to the children, who confided your feelings and sought my counsel. A problem you’ve had may be solved in one of my books.

I used fictitious characters in my books because many students have had the same or a similar problem. These characters also protect everyone’s privacy.

Thank you to the students who were the inspiration for my TOO series of books.

    and I have to say,

    I get in trouble

    nearly every single day."

    You be the judge . . . . .

Hi guys, Colin here. I know I’m cool because of my excellent rapping talent. I’m the hero of the school and I’m not lying. I just don’t get why I always seem to be in trouble. I don’t bully anyone… . I just like to rhyme and I’m good at it. Everyone says so. Is that such a crime… cuz I like to rhyme; get it?

As soon as I get the cool reputation I want, BANG-ZOOM, I get kicked out. I mean really kicked-out of school, not just suspended.

So what if I like to practice rapping whenever and wherever? Sometimes the teacher tells me
