About this ebook

After welcoming the congregation, the priest continued to announce the opening hymn, making no mention of why he had replaced Father Carmichael for the service. It raised the curiosity in Connie, especially as the rest of the congregation seemed relaxed and familiar with the priest addressing them. As the service continued, Connie found herself looking around the church to see if Father Carmichael had arrived. Peering through two pillars adjacent to their pew, her gaze fell upon a commemorative plaque set in the wall beyond. In bold script cut into the stone, Connie focused on the name of the churchs founder. She stared, stunned at the words In memory of Father Carmichael, followed by the dates of his life span several centuries earlier.

Chris J Berry

Since writing the first of his books, the author’s main objective adheres to his plan to try and help the creatures and people of our planet. Gazing across the world, nothing seems to change, with conflict the continuing trend on earth. Societies descend into violent confrontation, with factions fragmenting into smaller dependencies rather than seek to unite the nations of our world. Global weather extremes continue to fuel humanitarian crises, destroy food harvests, and desecrate their crop areas. The theme of this twelfth project, The View from Infinity, the sixth in the series A Voyage to Infinity, seeks to expand on the author’s suppositions of what the life beyond offers in the previous books. The introductions in this series, the author hopes, will provide clues that ask us to view life logically and consider the transience of life, our inevitable exit from it, and what that means in terms of the material wealth we strive to generate. Considering those factors establishes one fact—that nothing in the material world belongs to anyone—and poses the question, which then is the real world? He persists in his belief that the demise facing humanity can only be addressed by a united world. Remaining dedicated toward our Maker’s doctrines, the author seeks to abide by his ten laws to guide his life.

    Introduction

IN THIS SIXTH BOOK OF the series ‘A Voyage to Infinity’ I summarise, through the eyes of my characters, a reflection of their experiences on their journeys across the physical universe. But more than this I attempt to imagine how two elite souls, standing on the edge of infinity, might observe young spirits currently journeying through chosen physical spheres under the auspices of their spiritual mentors. From the understanding I have derived from my sources over the years, a soul returning to the home dimension no longer possesses free-will― the solution to its life there ending in either a celebratory or regrettable conclusion in the spiritual dimension.

Reflecting back over the experiences in my life, one of the most profound pieces of advice I received was to look at the material life logically. Viewing the material existence from the physical perspective forced me to rationalise the transience of, and inevitable exit from the physical life. The more I focused on those two aspects, the more they revealed a connection to other facets in life; proving to be an advantage that also reduced the surreal stigma attached to the spiritual dimension’s existence for me as I grew older.

In all my books I submit my sources’ idea that individual souls have to make the first move; there is no way around this, as I believe now life here follows a definitive learning process that is subject to the use of one’s free-will. The choice of the teaching process however differs in one important way, as the syllabus of life arises from proven souls who exist in the world beyond. It falls then upon one’s ability to accept their teachings, either from historic transcripts or mediums practicing spiritual contact― the latter invariably providing a sceptical, insurmountable barrier. It follows then that if we can consider the source of these ecclesiastic hypotheses on faith, and then focus our minds on their values that clearly ask us to share one’s wealth and knowledge with others, proof of the spiritual mentor’s existence will come.

There are copious, ancient ecclesiastic sects around the globe, and after making a personal study of some, I distance my beliefs from those applying harsh rules which persecute believers, disbelievers and gender alike. The material aspects in life place demands upon us all as we progress on. Nothing comes easy, has been the case throughout my life, succumbing to the temptation to take the quick option time and again. I have found there to be no easy solution to life; put simply, what is right is right, and what is wrong is wrong. To find a moral solution in the face of those two extremes, I believe, must be achieved in the material life to gain any advantage in the world beyond. I submit again that the one prominent attribute that dogs our search for the truth is free-will, and this is where the imperceptible conflict between the good and dark influences beyond can impose a toll.

It has become clear to me over the course of my life that the spiritual existence is the real world, and that the time spent in that speck of time we refer to as ‘three score and ten’ must be used to achieve a spiritual understanding in the material life. It all circles back to the individual’s ability to accept what ancient historic doctrines and prophecies offer us. I have found that after extracting the symbolism, rife in many historic transcripts, they make better sense in modern times, and which then can help us to make that all important first move on the physical plane… CJB.

    Preface

VICKY AND JAMIE, STANDING together on the edge of spiritual infinity, turn to gaze briefly out across the Infinite One’s physical dimensions. They see them now as vast classrooms where new-born souls begin their voyage to infinity in the search for essential truths. If they successfully meet the challenges ahead of them, it will offer them access to the Infinite One’s Eternal Kingdom. To enter that eternal life, the Infinite One demands more than adherence to His Ten Laws, but also requires his subjects to practice purity of mind.

In the Infinite One’s Galactica Eternal there is transparency of thought― an attribute that has no place in the dingy, devious world of the Evil One. As Vicky and Jamie gaze on, they reflect on the opportunities they seized during their voyage across the physical planes, and how their obedience to the Infinite One has brought them closer to perfection.

Gazing from infinity, the Celestial Window homes in on individual souls engaged in their trials on the lower planes. Vicky and Jamie see in the lives of souls many similar challenges they faced on the physical planes. At times they are saddened, with no alternative other than to watch many virgin spirits fail as they neglect to abide by the Infinite One’s laws. Greed, persecution and the elements are just some of the material attributes that are persistently met on the lower planes. Immorality, and the abuse of a world’s environment, provide a graphic reflection for Vicky and Jamie, continually reminding them of the struggle they endured as they journeyed across the lower planes.

The Evil One peers out from his miserable kingdom as new worlds come on line, pondering the rich pickings to be had on them. As Vicky’s and Jamie’s expanding fraternity of kindred spirits gather around them, they focus on life in different dimensions and physical planes in turn. Following souls in their struggles, they find that life in adjacent universes differs little— the imperceptible conflict as real as it was in their universe. With no perception of time in the spiritual world, the kindred spirits watch the precious life-spans of selected souls fleet by. Some have happy endings while others— sad, but the imperceptible conflict is relentless. With the Infinite One’s gift of free-will; young virgin spirits are ignorant of it, risking everything for the transient values on the physical planes… CJB.

    Chapter One

    A REFLECTIVE MEDITATION

    ~1~

NOW IN THE SPIRITUAL INCARNATION, a group of kindred spirits gazed out over the physical universe from infinity; a euphoric mood among them, meditating on the celebration of two proven souls’ mentors’ entry into the Infinite One’s kingdom. Vicky’s and Jamie’s spiritual guardians were not only rejoicing on reaching the end of their voyage to infinity, but they were equally celebrating the fact: that their fraternity of kindred spirits would soon join them on the new assignment they were all to begin.

Vicky smiled at Jamie. In my wildest dreams, My Heart, she whispered. I never imagined we could be so happy.

Jamie nodded. On every physical plane we’ve journeyed across, it has been prophesised as so― if souls can choose to follow the Infinite One.

Bathed in the warmth of this fraternal, spiritual companionship, Vicky and Jamie contemplated the view from infinity. During their past incarnations on the lower planes, their part of the physical universe seemed infinitesimal now compared to the cosmological void reaching away. The Infinite One’s picture of what they had held in faith then was even bigger, revealing a complex of multiple universes distanced from them by an even greater void. What they were witnessing now was far beyond the capability of the human mind to even begin to comprehend.

From the physical perspective, to attempt to voyage across such a gigantic void was unthinkable, except for those enjoying the liberty afforded to them by the Universal Technology. The physical barrier that existed between these parallel universes was sheer distance, but with the spiritual mind, a proven soul merely had to think themselves to any point out in that multiple complex to arrive there. This spiritual asset opened up yet more rewarding prospects in the great spiritual adventure. As successful spirits, ascending through their chosen physical planes on their quest for the truth, it followed that at the end of each phase, the Infinite One would shower upon them gifts to reward them for their loyalty.

Vicky and Jamie, having reached their level of spiritual development, the Celestial Window now began to offer even more opportunities. On the Higher Planes the Window’s benefits were obvious, allowing access to monitor life on the lower planes, and through which intuitive guidance could be channelled. But here now it provided the means for a proven soul to view life anywhere, in any time and in any universe. This revelation described how the Celestial Window could home in on similar origins of life out in the Infinite One’s multiple dimensions. It demonstrated the same purpose behind virgin souls’ humble beginnings on the lower planes that could, if used wisely, realise spiritual accomplishment. But it was also on those worlds that the Evil One’s strategy followed tradition, testing the ability of young souls to learn and retain obedience to the Infinite One as they passed through them.

With the minion entities, continually exploiting the wills of young spirits, their dark influence sought to drag them down into the dingy corners of the universe. Striving to deprive the young souls of the glorious adventure that now reached away before Vicky, Jamie and their kindred spirits, the Evil One’s advantage proved to be too strong for many. But even then, after the Infinite One had been shunned, He offered lost souls the opportunity to seek redemption― Jamie, reflecting on Simon’s successful bid for reclamation on Nemisia. Though effectively, Simon had only just restarted his voyage to infinity, after successfully extracting himself from the Evil One’s grip, it now promised a time when Jasmine, and he, could stand and meditate on the view from infinity Vicky and Jamie were enjoying now.

Vicky and Jamie, like others in their spiritual fraternity, intuitively sensed they had entered a new period of their spiritual progression, which required them to continue sharing their knowledge. Through the Infinite One’s Celestial Window, they were focusing on many lives of virgin souls and their spiritual mentors. What was exciting after earning this ability was that it came with no limitations now; the Infinite One trusting His proven souls to adhere to His will and Ten Laws. Channelling the power through them from those in the Infinite One’s realm, proven souls were granted the means to discreetly monitor and offer healing, support and guidance to those on the lower physical planes.

Vicky was aware now of the role she was to play alongside Jamie, and one where she had been mentored by Molly, now a familiar, visiting angelic guardian of the Infinite One’s animal kingdom. Jamie, established as a guardian of a world, since overseeing Nemisia into the Celestial Realm, sensed his assignment there would continue like Samuel’s, Tristram’s and Antron’s had done. But now, added to that Divine role, the opportunity to periodically take on other spiritual ventures in other dimensions for the Infinite One offered itself.

Jamie gazed out over the Infinite One’s Divine Complex, and then glanced back at Vicky. I sense the approach of a new seeding assignment― as on Nemisia the Universal Technology approaches completion. He paused, thoughtfully looking out again over the infinitive void panning away before them. Simon maintains his supportive role there, and like us, awaits a sign from the Infinite One.

Vicky smiled. Another visit to the Refulgent Book then? she anticipated.

Jamie nodded, her statement confirming in him, a similar conclusion in her. Indeed. An event that never ceases to raise excitement in me― each time, offering the chance to feel the presence of the Infinite One.

We are never parted from Him now, My Heart, murmured Vicky softly.

He smiled at her statement. It’s what I feel as well.

She nodded. I can sense His presence around me everywhere I go. It was something I felt on Orburn as my illness there began to dominate my life. He bestowed on me a source of comfort I could easily have ignored in my misery, had I let myself become bitter. Now, My Heart, that trust has led us to an opportunity to look beyond the boundaries of our universe and view life in others. She looked out towards infinity.

He followed her gaze. I don’t think the solution to life out there will be any different from that in our universe, but maybe on a different time scale, he surmised.

Do you think the power of the Evil One has the ability to penetrate multiple universes as well? she pondered aloud.

Jamie continued to stare thoughtfully out into the infinite void. I sense, through my spiritual being that has to be so. No matter in which of the Infinite One’s dimensions a soul incarnates, the Evil One’s legions loom in the background. Jamie became intense. The great spiritual adventure reveals more as we progress. Our success on the lower planes opened up the Higher Planes. From there we progressed out into the Universe. He fleeted an excited glance at her. Now we stand on the edge of infinity gazing out over the Infinite One’s multiple dimensions— what comes next?— perhaps still more universes?"

Vicky stared at him studiously. "How you describe it is exciting, but as we’ve seen, it all revolves around the Infinite One’s lower planes wherever they are, and where a soul’s search for the truth is repeated— it seems to cast an anticlimactic shadow over it in comparison."

Jamie shook his head. Not for us. The Infinite One allows for that, sending his proven spirits on inter-dimensional excursions to witness the wonders He creates. Jamie smiled teasingly. The topics we touched upon about the beginnings of life on virgin worlds before their seeding like…

Oh! no! she interrupted abruptly. Don’t start on the early life of new worlds developing in new universes, reflecting back on her thoughts on Nemisia’s Jurassic era eons before.

Jamie laughed. What? You’re not thinking of the monster topic again, are you?

She stared at him. I don’t think its very funny, Jamie!

Ooh! ‘Jamie’ is it now? What happened to ‘My Heart’, then?— and you destined to be a Guardian Angel of the Infinite One’s animal kingdom.

Vicky stared pertly at him. I think your boyish wit is ill-timed, Dear.

Jamie shrugged. Don’t hold me responsible for the phases in the creation of life; it’s the Infinite One who decrees it to be so. He shook his head. We’ve had all this out before, Dear One. Life has to start somewhere to create the environment for humanity to exist in. Jamie panned his hand across the infinite void before them. "It is exciting, and before we draw any conclusions, let the Celestial Window guide us, and speak for itself. The Infinite One has given us this opportunity to venture beyond the boundaries of our universe, and where I believe we’ll see other dimensions that might replace ours one day. He smiled at the conciliatory grin on her face. I feel sometimes we’re close to the complete solution in life, and then we progress on, only to find new horizons suddenly appear. It’s in this huge arena where we will play out our part in the Infinite One’s Divine Plan, a plan He directs from Galactica Eternal."

    Chapter Two

    A DIMENSIONAL EPISODE

    ~1~

AFTER THEIR BRIEF MEDITATION, Vicky and Jamie summoned the power of their spiritual minds and ventured out into the void beyond. These new experiences into the unknown were increasingly strengthening their allegiance to the Infinite One, enjoying the legacy inherited from Him for their continued loyalty. Through their spiritual intuition, they anticipated many similar voyages awaiting them, intuitively accepting that these spiritual adventures would share the responsibility they had towards Nemisia.

Returning regularly to view the situation on Nemisia, they sensed the time approached when the Nemisian fleet would be completed. The seeding responsibility that fell to them then, would periodically interrupt their ventures out into other dimensions— which was also considered as part of their continuing, spiritual education.

From past experience they sensed that history would undoubtedly repeat itself on new worlds out in other universes, once under the influence of the imperceptible conflict. Through their spiritual channels, it had also been revealed that the Evil One and his legions possessed the means to migrate between all dimensions, as the Infinite One’s legions were able to do. This fact Vicky and Jamie had gradually become aware of, and which had raised some arcane thoughts in them, leant towards the idea that a sense of irony existed here. Without the Evil One’s presence, how could virgin souls be tested on the lower planes? Was there, somewhere in the infinite future, a final confrontation between good and evil that would settle the differences between them definitively? They had discussed the topic many times, but a solution to it eluded them— there seeming no intuitive response from the Celestial Realm.

As they journeyed on, Vicky had pondered this question time and again. There seemed no answer forthcoming to it; not even the hint of a directive came from the Refulgent Book during past audiences with it. All proven souls possessed an understanding of how that Sacred Book provided a direct link to the Infinite One, and through it, only profound truth would appear upon it’s pages. The lack of any sort of revelation appearing on it, on the topic of the Evil One’s presence, had set Vicky and Jamie wondering whether there was any significance in the Divine Realm’s silence on the topic. Each venture into this subject ended the same— an intuitive, prohibitive feeling that sensed them that this was forbidden territory.

Fleeting across the infinitive void, the two elite spirits journeyed on until in the distance, a gigantic spiralling vortex began to appear over a stunning back-drop of galaxies and nebulae beyond.

Jamie pointed to it excitedly. An entrance to an adjacent universe, and one we’ve never visited before. There was no time to dwell on the privileges their obedience to the Infinite One had earned them. The freedom of infinity was theirs with so much to see and learn— their spirits impervious to the harsh reality of the stellar environment they were drifting through. Vicky and Jamie, though aware of their responsibilities towards Nemisia, they were going to enjoy their periodical excursions into other universes. Treating them as spiritual vacations, they relished the prospect of many more adventures out into infinity.

In the back of Jamie’s mind, the future audience with the Evil One lurked, finding himself pondering over the meeting that was to take place on the world he was destined to seed. When the time came to voyage from Nemisia, these present, divine excursions would benefit him. Increasing his strength of spirit, they would go in tandem with Vicky’s and his kindred spirits’ support for him on that task.

Vicky smiled, as they approached the stellar entrance to the universe. So deep in thought, My Heart, she whispered. You’re missing the sights.

Not a chance, Dear One, he grinned, as they drifted down through the vortex. You underestimate the spirit’s powers of perception, and we needn’t have travelled the vortex anyway― there are no limitations upon us as proven spirits now.

Vicky nodded. Conceded, but the glorious colours in the scenes are too breathtaking to miss.

Passing out through a blaze of colour, the pitch black void of interstellar space reached away into a confused perspective of speckled stars and galaxies beyond. As they journeyed on, Jamie was drawn to a particular galaxy, and noting a group of stars within it began making for them. During their approach, they marvelled at the clouds of nebulae, with gravity at work within them forming new stars. Vicky and Jamie sensed the presence of the Infinite One in this strange universe; how these new experiences were providing them with evidence that He was a far superior Being than they had imagined during their mortal incarnations.

As they closed in on one star, they paused to study the solar system orbiting it― the third planet appearing strikingly familiar as their gazes focused upon it.

Jamie stared at Vicky as she began muttering curiously. If I didn’t know better, My Heart, she whispered. I’d say we’re looking at a world that is uncannily alike to Tristram’s planet Earth, described in the temple archives back on Nemisia.

Jamie gazed curiously at it, shaking his head slowly. I would imagine all developing worlds look similar at that stage. His thoughts reflected back on an earlier discussion, they’d had, on the topic of life; how history repeated itself over and over, and now sensed it to be the case in adjacent universes. The same law applies with souls allowed one chance. With no choice but to accept that, it comes as a shock to erring spirits when they learn why no physical planes can be travelled upon twice.

Vicky nodded. Other than in special circumstances.

"As you say, special spirits may travel worlds repeatedly— sent on special missions or to progress technology," surmised Jamie.

However, My Heart. We’re here in this dimension as visiting, proven spirits, and enjoying the Infinite One’s favour, that gives us the right to access these spheres whether we’ve passed through them or not.

Jamie nodded thoughtfully. In the spiritual incarnation all is revealed, but I begin to see it from another angle; how, in other universes, incarnate souls in other dimensions might exist in different time-states. As we’ve come to realise, humanity finds themselves isolated on their chosen world by it’s atmosphere— humanity engaged in outlaying vast sums of wealth to penetrate it rather than heed the call from the Infinite One to care for their world and fellowmen.

Vicky offered him an old fashioned look. Well that states the obvious, My Heart. We’ve seen that to be the case countless times after completing our first incarnation on Orburn.

Yes! But you miss my point. Don’t you see why it could be that the Infinite One isolates His dimensions in the physical environment?

I think you over complicate the… She paused― a sudden eureka expression dawning over her face.
