    FOREWORD

In relation to heavenly things as well as earthly things we are all called to serve one way or the other. Even Master Jesus was, ‘called to serve’ and to deliver people from their sinful nurture. This earned us the salvation of souls we boost about today. Had it not been for the sacrifice our dear Lord Jesus made for us, we wouldn’t have been redeemed from our sins. Therefore, considering this fact, we too have to carry and cherish the true spirit of servant-hood despite the fact that we are so prestigious and famous. In any case most people who become famous, be it politicians, business people, servants of the Most High God and any other, do so by merely being around people and loving them. As indicated by my spiritual father Apostle Andrew Wutawunashe that there is no time he has not been around people, as he is always moved to help, hear as well as listen to their concerns, coupled with spending quality time shepherding, praying and loving them. His passion is to always involve himself in mentoring, coaching, guiding, instructing, correcting, rebuking and grooming people to become spiritual giants in Christ as well as to prosper in this life through the use of the word of the Lord. As a result of the preaching of the message of the cross, he always emphasizes on most of these people who came from very humble back-grounds, have rose-up to attain high positions and some have become prominent business people in the corporate world. This really is indicative of a great dedication and revelation from the Lord himself; spending time with people is actually a sacrifice on it’s own. Nowadays, most people do not care at all about other people’s needs as they only mind their own businesses, but it is by the grace of the Lord to reach-out and pay particular attention to the needs of others. This was equally demonstrated by our Lord Jesus Christ who spent his entire earthly ministry blessing, loving, feeding and healing people. Our dear Lord Jesus was a servant of all as demonstrated by him bowing the knee to wash his disciple’s feet. There are indeed great rewards in stewardship and servant-hood.

WE ARE SENT TO DO FIVE THINGS:

    1. Bear children-repent from working for God; sit down, God is not worked for as he will bring ripe souls to you.

    2. Plant seeds-honor the Lord with the first fruit of your substance.

    3. Pray-blessing must be fought for so that when you have pursued blessings and your blessings has come, it will serve God.

    4. Fast-your reality will be determined by your persuasion of holiness and righteousness.

    5. Live the word, actually practicing it-brings yourself to a place of commitment again. Get drunk with Jesus and his holy juice.

Text: - Matthew 5:2-12, vs.3: Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Deuteronomy 28:1-14, vs.13: And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and do them. Genesis 12:1-3: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee; and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

    PREFACE

The story of Joseph in the Holy Bible from Genesis 50:19-26 is the most tangible, practically illustrative servant-hood life which yielded positive life-changing results. It sums up that people might mean evil towards you, but God will use the negative situations and circumstances to bring about deliverance to a whole nation. Verse 19-21 states: And Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for am I in the place of God? But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive. Now therefore fear ye not, I will nourish you and your little ones. And he comforted them, and spake kindly unto them. This shows that Joseph was forgiving, forgetting and accepting. He went a step further to take care of them and their children. We too need to take the same stance that of forgiving, forgetting, loving, accommodating, accepting and nurturing despite the fact that some people do not change at all. They are like un-cook-able beans which continue to become raw after boiling them several times, even though they still need our mercy. We need to be strong in the inner man as Joseph who was not emotionally affected by the negative actions of his brothers. He was able to resist temptations to the very last end by not giving in to the sexual advances of Potiphar’s wife. In other words, as a young man who was into slavery, he did not choose quick-fix promotion by compromising his faith through sinning in his body, but instead waited patiently and served faithfully without any compromise, until the day of the Lord’s mighty hand of total deliverance. It is written, for promotion cometh neither from the east nor from the west, but from the Lord God Almighty. Joseph was elevated from the dungeon pit to serve in Potiphar’s house, from the prison cells to be the Armor Bearer of the King, From the King’s Armor Bearer to becoming the Prime Minister of the State of Affairs. What an Awesome God we serve! Where his brothers thought he had died and was no more, salvation and deliverance came to him because in all his ways he sought the Lord in a diligent manner and was willing to demonstrate and embrace the true spirit of servant-hood. He was indeed promoted from Pit to Palace, Genesis 37-45.

    DEDICATION

This book is dedicated above all to King Jesus who became the servant of all for us to earn the salvation of souls that we have today. Also to all servants of the Most High God and all believers in the faith that has stood the test of time. To all domestic workers, house/yard orderlies, nannies/baby-sitters, caregivers, medical/para-medical professional, skilled employees and persons engaged in jobs considered to be not so professional per-say. Mostly termed unskilled or ‘rese-rese’, (RR) because the author believes that, the more one repeatedly does the same thing over and over again, the more one devises better and more effective ways of doing it, adding up to perfectionism or professionalism in one’s field of interest. Not excluding of course, all volunteers who usually do their work without any remuneration in order to serve lives and empower persons who are traumatized. Also to all those who have experienced some form of trauma, slavery, bondages, captivity, ill treatment and any form of castigation. To the prisoners who have been incarcerated for their in-appropriate and wrong-doings. Much as you have to gracefully fulfill your punishment legally and down here on earth, there is hope for you in the Lord. For he sayeth, Thou your sins be as red as scarlet they shall be as white as snow. Not leaving out the prisoners of war who are held into captivity and punished severely for the crimes of representing as well as defending their respective nations, at times resulting in the loss of their lives, still there is a glorious light at the very end of that dark tunnel. Be it in death or in living, for the sting of death has been swallowed up in total victory in Christ. Last but not least, to all those who have been poverty stricken all their lives and leaving below the poverty datum line, the door of prosperity
