This book was written to help inspire Christians that want to know why things happen to them after they have chosen to live for the Lord. There was a time when I felt loneliness and began seeking a man for companionship because I thought that would settle my dream of a romantic marriage. I finally realized I had made a mistake and stopped and returned to God for His guidance.

I realize there are times that will become difficult for Christians to remain faithful to God. I have described some descriptions in my book about temptations that led me astray. I also describe the various ways Christians can remain faithful to Him.

One example is the only one that can fix us and put us back together right is God. God made us in His own image; He is the only one who knows us inside and out. After all, He is the potter and we are the clay. We say we listen to Him, but do we? We should listen to Him with our spirit.

We also should not use our talents for our benefit or glory, but for God, church, and others who may be comforted or helped during our ministering of God-given talents.

Patrice Adams

Patrice Adams has been in ministry for over thirty years. Ms. Adams grew up in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Ms. Adams has worked in the church as children’s church coordinator, deaconess, Sunday school superintendent, Sunday school teacher, and many other capacities. Ms. Adams is the mother of two sons, and one is a minister. Ms. Adams attends college at Mid America Christian University for Christian Ministries. As you read this book, it is the hope of Ms. Adams that it can be of interest to readers who seek spiritual inspiration.

To my former pastor Gloria Mitchell for being a real example of a Godly woman by teaching me how to live saved in these last and evil days and witnessing to me to be born again. Also my valuable training as a Sunday school teacher, secretary, superintendent.

Introduction

I wrote this book to help inspire the Why Christians/Saints that want to know why things happen to them after they have chosen to live for the Lord. I hope that this book can let one know they can make it. We need to seek the Lord before making any decision big or small and wait for guidance from Him. We should not let our mind hold on to the problems and cares of this world. We need to expect the Lord to perform a miracle for us. Just because the Lord does not answer right away, does not mean he will not. The Lord already knows that there are things we desire to have and are not ready to receive or it may cause us more harm than anything may. What we do is get angry with him because it is easy to do. We put ourselves in a position to stop praying, reading the word or attending church. We behave like spoiled children and want things our way. Stop letting the enemy trick us and conquer our trials. The lord is the only winner.

Prologue

It is hard to live a Christian life today with all the temptations. I hope this book can help someone know that we can make it and overcome our trials. Putting the Lord first is the answer.
