PREFACE

I wrote this book when I was comparing ancient philosophers and their personal lives of scientific research. I had been wanting to challenge my philosophical thinking and analyzing. After doing the research to discover the philosophies of Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, and Immanuel Kant, I began to realize and understand that there are many things in something rather that something in many things. Aristotle’s philosophy was based on condemning certain rules of politics rather than loving politics. If he loved politics, he could not say that the constitution was based on taking funds from the population. Also, Plato studied politics in a state of depression because he was chased by his friend.

I decided to examine some of the ideas that are rarely discussed in philosophy, such as the conflict between politics and citizens. I discovered that there are wars between the politicians and the citizens, but in those wars both camps should focus mainly on bringing peace through reconciliation and an understanding of the democratic process. Some of the politicians might disagree with this, because they do not understand the rights of human beings. Those who are dictators might want to step down from their positions, because they are also human beings. The philosophies of Socrates, Aristotle, and Immanuel Kant oppose this point. Socrates’ philosophy emphasized clear thinking.

Everybody is not the same in the world, but everybody is very important. If everybody thought the same way, the world would not exist. In this book, I did not want to think about politics, but all of my debates, arguments, and analyses seem to be based on politics.

It is my hope that this book will help the citizens of many countries understand their rights. I hope also that it will help the governmental authorities in many countries to recognize the rights of their citizens. It is my hope that citizens and authorities can work together to bring peace in all countries on all continents. I believe that, if there is no peace in a country, one of the reasons is that certain laws have been established that allow the government to steal the funds of the citizens, and there are no laws that are for the protection of the citizens.

I have benefitted from writing this book; it has opened my eyes. My research encouraged me to believe that the world needs the right kinds of leaders who care for the present life and also the future life without any other interests. This book describes and compares politics, democracy, citizens, and law. I believe that you cannot talk about peace in a country without looking at the political aspect.

I also include a discussion about religion, expressed in the form of a debate. Various religions are organizations that contribute greatly in any given country. Religions have also been major causes of war and main contributors to peace.

CHAPTER ONE

Introduction

Since a world came into existence, the world has not experienced permanent peace, because it does not contradict itself. There will never been silence in the world as long as human beings exist. The world cannot exist if there are no living entities – no evidence of nature. Even if human beings did not exist on the empty planet, other natural things might exist, and the planet would be considered as a part of the world.

In a world of peace it is not necessary for all human beings to live under good conditions in every environment of life; there can also be those who might be called the weaker. The world silence does not mean a silence that people think in a psychotherapy treatment but this silence is when human being is having a good life in his society.

In this book, I will talk more about the silence in the world rather than peace only, because when there is peace, there may not be silence. Silence is not equal to peace. When people need peace in their land, they must sometimes have war first before they can have peace. The wars result from different issues, such as political concerns, poor leadership, and other sources of information, but when there is war, the victims are the innocent population who do not even know the source of the war.

Every time you turn on the radio, television, or any other medium to get the information, you will realize that there is always trouble somewhere. There is always war somewhere in one country or another. There are also elements that can prevent silence from taking place in a particular country or community, and those elements are not made by themselves; they are created by human beings. It should always be something different that causes peace to take place, but the most important ideology of peace is that peace is something that is inside of every human being. Also, every member of mankind has an ability to identify peace. That is why many people in the world prefer to go live somewhere where they cannot see the trouble, or even see other human beings.

Many people condemned human beings as the main cause of trouble in the world. But many people forget that earthquakes, volcanoes, tornadoes, and other natural events also cause a lot of trouble in a silent, peaceful environment. All these elements stop human beings from gaining what they want to achieve in their lives. Everybody wants to achieve something, and that something is silence in life, or peace in life. There is always something that can come to interrupt people’s lives of silence. Imagine a female who has been raped by strangers. It is very difficult for her to live a good life, especially if she was raped by a member of her family. Every time she sees that particular family member, she must feel pain as a human being.

Many people have been discouraged by the lack of peace in their societies. Society is the environment in which many people discover who they are in the world. When a society is malfunctioning to a certain degree or it has lost its dignity, then the citizens cannot not improve many aspects of their lives. Silence is a weapon that motivates a person’s inner spirit for clearing his or her mind. Every human being has the potential to create a silence within himself or herself, but it the troubles of the world often prevent the existence of the requirements human beings need to create this silence.

All men and women have a duty to create good harmony in their lives. This does not mean they must be multimillionaires; rather, they must be able to feel confident that they can achieve everything that they need to accomplish in life. Places where there is peace are not places where only rich people live. This type of peace is a natural peace because human beings can be anywhere they want to be in the world.

On other side of the world, there are places where there is no peace, because of the level of development. This does not mean that, when a country or community is not developed, peace cannot be developed. This type of development occurs when a country or a particular organization wants to conquer another one, and then there is always something negative that must restrain it from developing. Silence cannot be isolated. It cannot be hidden somewhere where human beings are not able to find it. Instead, human beings have the origin of silence within themselves. If peace did not exist, this planet would not exist, because there is always peace somewhere in this world. Indeed, everywhere in the world requires major silence.

When the government does not want peace, people who live under that government will not be satisfied. Many governments try their best to have peace for a short time to satisfy their citizens. They do not understand the proper meaning of peace for the people; neither do they pay attention to the future peace of their people. People in many countries are most likely to end up without peace in their lives for the lack of the peace process in their countries. On other hand, there might be countries where there is a peace overall, but their communities do not have similar peace.

When a government feels that there is peace in the country, that government will not work on behalf of its citizens. Most the populations in the world suffer for the inability of their government to manage well.

In this book, I will compare the governments’ understanding of peace with the populations’ understanding of peace, because governments and their populations often have different understandings of what peace means. Many people in the world do not have a right to their natural silence, because their lives have been confused in the public arena. Sometimes when the general public is in a difficult situation, some individual people are not able to cope with their personal feelings of peace. For example, if somebody is living without any trouble in one location, and then moves to a new location that is experiencing problems, then that person will most likely lose his or her peace.
