When you look at the world, it seems so vast yet complicated to understand. Its people, its forms of governments and its systems of governments. Its beliefs, forms of beliefs and systems of beliefs; all created by man and/or the rule of man over another man; when all we needed was to understand that there are no systems of government as there are no systems of beliefs without its people, as there are no rich corporations or anything else without its people. People are the most important element on this part of the universe, because nothing would matter if we did not exist, and because we exist everything matters, and because it matters the rule of man has been taking advantage of its people, because its people were too ignorant to understand those simple facts. All this has been going on for thousands of years and if we the people do not stop this ignorance, we will continue to live like this forever. Change the Charter of the United Nations; as soon as we change this, we can kill world hunger in three years and live in peace immediately. It is time for the people to understand knowledge, and with knowledge we can change all systems of beliefs as well as all systems of government. All you have to do is seek for knowledge, and with knowledge we can all conquer the universe, live forever, and live happily, rich and in peace.

PEACE

To want PEACE:

Nobody has to write anything, for we all want to live in PEACE.

To understand PEACE:

It should not take more than a paragraph to understand PEACE

Because…

PEACE is not an OPTION; PEACE is a WAY OF LIFE.

But to live in PEACE:

What is it that the whole world is missing, and why is it so impossible to understand when it should be so easy to achieve? It is unfortunate that someone must explain the simplicity of how to live with one another, without the need to kill each other.

And that is what this book will do:

You will understand that, is not up to a leader to achieve PEACE.

You will understand that, it is easy to achieve PEACE if we just do this one thing.

You will understand that, it is ignorance that is keeping us from living in Peace.

You will understand that, there are no free societies in the World, and has never been.

You will understand that, the entire population of the World lives under the oppression of the rule of man.

You will understand that, we are not born to suffer but to live a happy life.

You will understand that, there is such a thing as a true freedom.

You will understand that, it is up to us to achieve freedom. We the people

You will understand that, America and the World have built and are building self-destructive Societies.

You will understand that, there is no such thing as the right leader.

You will understand that, there is no need for a leader.

You will understand that, spirituality is not because of religion, it is because of your consciousness, your soul—your spirit.

You will understand that, it is controversial, only because you do not have the courage to understand the truth.

You will understand that, free societies have no need for guns, cowards do.

You will understand that, the entire population is ignorant. But, can acquire knowledge.

Chapter One

In the Beginning

We belong to the Land; the Land does not belong to us.—Crazy Horse

He was the real American.

It is the unconscious power of the universe, capable to create what you see and do not see, without the need to understand why.

It is what it is, in universal terms; there are no changes. It is the course that follows nothing. It just happens. Through the natural process of what is supposed to happen.

•   There are no rules.

•   There are no laws.

•   And there are no systems.

As there is no understanding of anything, there is no need to, and don’t have to.

It is only our human perception that things are being created or being destroyed.

We lack the understanding of how, not why the Universe works. But we will one day. Understand!

We are at the very early stages of knowing how things happen. We humans have the capability to comprehend consciousness, or conscious energy in other ways. We are capable of imagining what the beginning might have been, whether it is in Religious terms or scientific terms. But now, we are going to look at it from the Logical perspective.

Logically, it should not matter how we came to be, but reason tells it otherwise, and true reason is how we will analyze these. Understand that; every living thing has the capability to reason, reason differently but reason. What creates, those differences are the degrees of that capability.

We all understand and have always believed in our survival instincts, including that of all kinds of animals and now plants. The theory of animal instinct has brought to light the facts that in the past we were incapable of comprehend our universe.

"For thousands and thousands of years, we have lived happy go lucky, in some ways content just to exist without the understanding of exactly what Happiness is . . . I must stop myself here. This ‘happiness’ thing would need not another chapter, but probably another book by itself, and many have already been written to examine what happiness is, could be or should be".

Through this book, you will understand reasoning and the power of reasoning, and when you properly understand it, you will be capable of standing on your own two feet and reason for yourself, without the influence of others or their belief systems.

Because: as long as you believe in others, you will never believe in yourself.

It takes a lot of courage to understand yourself, and even more, to understand your rights and wrongs.

Throughout this writing, keep an open mind about what you have been taught, not what you have learned to believe.

Be ready for the infinite possibilities that are there, ripe for the taking, if we use reasoning as the medium for what we are, ‘human beings.’ ‘With reasoning we can achieve anything, including peace’, which is what this book is all about.

Only the power of individual reasoning will take us there. It is your right to reason and your right to live in peace any which way that you choose

Of course you have been reasoning all along and for thousands of years or even millions of years.

At the very beginning all we had to reason for, was of how to get food. Millions of years would pass for us to reason the way we now reason. But you must ask yourself; millions of years later, has it been your own reasoning or has it been influenced by others and their perceptions? Ask yourself this: because of the way you reason, are you any better than others? Are others any less than you? Leave this question in your mind, and I guarantee; you will be more capable of answering it at the end of this book.

Now, reasoning:

Through thousands of years, we have seen entire countries go hungry. One country takes over another country. A few people wipe out entire civilizations, and where we stand now, we are capable of wiping our entire race off of the Universe, all through the power of reasoning.

We have all the elements to accomplish these things:

•   Greed.

•   Hatred.

•   Envy.

•   Distinctions.

•   Nuclear Energy.

•   And ignorance.

None of these elements has any power by themselves. They only become powerful through human reasoning. And reasoning is the only power by which we exist the way that we do. Without reasoning, nothing would make sense, not that it would matter much.

The power of human reasoning is the fuel behind our very existence. We all know we are the only beings on these parts of the universe that are capable of reasoning at the degree that we do. It is my understanding that every living thing reasons in some way if you observe it. Throughout the animal kingdom, you will find entire societies properly structured and functioning:

•   Ants.

•   Bees.

•   Meerkats.

•   Elephants.

•   Penguins.

•   Monkeys and more.

Some of them are advancing their own way of reasoning for survival purposes, some monkeys go searching for the right straw to wet with their saliva and stick inside termite nests in order to draw out food for them. Some others will search for the right stump to smash shells or nuts on top of, in order to draw food from inside.

Tanzanian chimps use Aspilia (herb) which contains a powerful antibiotic—to treat upset stomachs.

There are some eagles that wait for the bones of a dead animal being eaten to be discarded by other predators. When they have finished eating, the eagles take over, because they know the bones have marrow in them! Eagles grab these bones and fly away with them to reach just the right height, and when they believe they’re at the right altitude, they will drop the bones onto rocks and other hard surfaces, knowing that the bones will break into pieces and expose the rich morsels of marrow inside. But keep in mind that they don’t always succeed on the first try, and when this occurs, the eagles will persist in dropping the bones as many times as it takes, or even go searching for a better or harder surface to drop the bones on.

Even deer, from constant observations, are shown as constantly wary of their surroundings. If the deer is not constantly reasoning, what is the deer always so afraid of? And when the deer finds itself facing its fear, it must run in the opposite direction from where the danger is approaching, until safer surroundings are found.

Preying animals calculate time, strategy and the type of prey they hunt, before ever deciding to go for it. Some understand they can do the job alone, and others understand that it is better to hunt in groups. There are many other animals, insects and birds that know when and where to go when the time comes to get moving.

But let’s look at reasoning from the human perspective. If you grab a ball, any kind of ball, your mind unconsciously calculates the ball’s weight, size and even texture. And if you choose to throw the ball, your mind must calculate the amount of strength your body releases to get the distance that you wish to achieve.

In many instances, the mind will need a great deal of practice to perfect its’ ability, as is in the case of athletes. During practice, athletes constantly push themselves harder to achieve their goals, whether it is to run faster, jump higher or throw harder. But once they are in the game, there is only one chance in every run, jump or pass. Their mind will unconsciously be calculating every move or motion, because once you put this practice to work, your mind no longer reasons how much harder you must throw or how much stronger you must get. It just does it unconsciously, because it has been programmed to do so, and in many instances it will remain programed in your subconscious for the rest of your life.

And many years later your mind will give the same orders for you to throw that ball. You will throw that ball without having to reason things out, unless of course you are consciously aware that you are no longer capable of throwing anything, which mean that you’re either too old or you fucked yourself up to the point that you no longer have a little courage to even try and throw that ball. That was human reasoning.

Plants do the same in a much different degree: They must adapt to live in different conditions; they may not always succeed, but many times they do. In this way, they’re not that much different than us. Sometime we make it and sometimes we don’t, and plants as beings will grow according to the conditions in which they find themselves. If there is less water, they will have to grow deeper roots. If there is too much water, they will have to grow tall and skinny, become strong or die depending on their species, no differently than us. But I seem to have jumped ahead a little bit, so I will touch more on these things later. Instead, I will make a return to the power of human reasoning; Way back we used to think that what made us different or more intelligent was the fact that we walked on only two feet.

And for the sake of reasoning: Let’s look at it this way; give a snake your brain and take his… whatever he’s got, the snake with the capability of reasoning, even though he crawls now, will be intelligent enough to feel sorry for us that walk on our two feet. He will be intelligent enough to invent things for his own body frame.

He will have no hands and no legs but he will be able to think and reason.

He will also find the way to exterminate his own kind with the power of reasoning. Imagine mother and father snake with dozens of little ones going to Hawaii on vacation… Traveling at the speed of light.

Now, just in case you don’t know:

There are snakes that are capable to fly.

There are snakes that are capable to swim.

No fins and no wings. They can do that by pure snake reasoning.

Let’s give a human brain to something with four legs. Go ahead, pick one… Okay, I’ll pick one. A cow; It’s got just about every organ we have and more, if it’s three extra stomachs are taken into account. Let’s make a brain swap. What would we do with it… ? Don’t forget that we were so proud to walk on our two legs. Now, with the cow’s brains would we still understand what pride means? Of course not, we would immediately start roaming the field, feeding on bushes, grass, and trees from our supposed instinct that makes us eat or leads us on for our survival.

But in the meantime the cow; while we are roaming on the fields and are being fed or being fattened to be eaten by them? Or would they have been vegetarians all along? I don’t think so. They too, with the power of reasoning, could figure out that a cow does not live from grass alone. So they would have made nice, juicy steaks out of all of us. Nice, juicy human steaks, that is. Imagine; with the power of reasoning, they would be the ones living the grand life having orgies, creating religions, creating governments and bureaucrats, dancing all night with their own version of Lady Gaga, sleeping in cozy beds with down blankets and pillows, and having homes with fire places. They would be flying coach or first class in their beautiful cow made airplanes with very comfortable chairs built to their specifications. They would be the ones texting and typing at the computer with their hooves, and on their phones built just for them.

With the power of reasoning they would have some the same or more [*than humans]

•   Sports

•   Schools

•   Art

•   Finance

•   Fashion

They too, would be embarrassed at being naked. They might even have had their own Dolce and Gabana, 9" heels! It’s possible. And, they would be the ones having all these disagreements and thinking of ways to exterminate each other. After all, as we know now, that is what reasoning does to you. Until all those so called kind, reasoning human beings are all gone.

But for the sake of cow reasoning I would like to give them more credit, because I think for them to exterminate each other, a very good reason must have existed rather than them creating one and dragging it on for thousands of years.

I do not think I must explain it. Pick one reason, and there are many, and they are created by a man.

Emotional distinctions of all kinds specially these more popular ones:

•   Greed.

•   Hatred.

•   Envy.

•   And so on.

We are our own enemy, with our own way of reasoning. But it isn’t necessarily created by all; just a few.

Before you go on reading, again, keep an open mind, because it isn’t about you, it’s about us, all 7 billion and more of us, willing to do what a very small few are allowing us to do.

We will be the ancestors to those that will come after us, and we have no choice on this

It is what is supposed to be. It is what it is, hopefully a more knowledgeable ancestor

It is us that must take this Universe to a different level. Notice I said ‘Universe,’ not planet, because we are capable of doing just that.

By the end of this book, you will understand it too; it is our Universe, even if there are other beings out there. They must have their own Universe.

It is us that know and are capable of learning and comprehending and executing knowledge.

It’s not because we are lucky, it’s just the way that it is.

It could have been Tyrannosaurus Rex as the smart one, but it was not.

It could have been a Rat, but it was not.

It could have been a Lion, king of the jungle, but it is not.

So there is no luck here, because just the same way that they do not understand their fortune, it could have been us happy and oblivious in the wilderness.

Now: back again to the beginning.

To know the beginning… We will never know the beginning because to know that, someone must have been there to tell us exactly how everything was and how everything came to be after that. For as smart as we come to be in the next millennia, we will still never know it, but we will be much more able to understand and reason on it.

In religious terms:

God created the Universe… And who created God?

In scientific terms:

It’s the theory of The Big Bang. Who created that big nucleus? That giant mass, that became a big bang?

Where did it come from? How did it become solid so that it could explode trillions of years later?

Theory of Helium and Hydrogen, where did these two ingredients come from and how could it be that the universe, seeing and unseeing, holds most of the natural resources not known yet to man, just with helium 3, not found on Earth but abundant on the moon? And what else is out there?

Now: Whatever you see and do not see, we are. But we are who we are, because we are on this part of the universe. You get it? If you were in another Galaxy, chances are you would not look the way that you look now. When you understand exactly how young we are as a galaxy, you will start to comprehend that there is life out there from way before us, and way more powerful and intelligent than us. Beings that have come to be: an integral part of the universe, capable of integrating themselves to the Universe.

They no longer dwell in matter, but in energy. They no longer dwell in death, but in life.

To understand the Big Bang is a no brainer. But try to understand, for a big bang to happen:

There had to be space, immense space. But where did this immense space come from and how did it become full of energy? Where did this energy come from? Well? You can say from microscopic molecules, at the end it does not matter whether it is a microscopic organism or photosynthesis or anything else you want to call it. And if it was one, how did it become zillions, capable of creating zillions of atmospheric conditions and full of microscopic molecules?

Let’s see:

•   There had to be space.

•   There had to be energy.

•   There had to be matter.

Now, you cannot have matter without energy, you cannot have energy without space, and where there is space, there is matter and energy of every kind.

We very much understand what matter is, or do we? We are learning to understand what energy is, but we are at the very, very beginning.

Remember, Everything you see and do not see; we are.

We are all energy, the planets, stars, rebel comets… Everything, trees, animals, etcetera. If you would blast them all, pulverize them completely, they would disintegrate and join the rest of the energy in the universe, and depending on what part of the universe they are in, they will form again in zillions of years to once more provide life. They might be funny looking, but the process will begin again; the process of life, that is. To me, the most important thing is to learn. How the space came to be, what it is, and if it is expanding, where is that room to expand coming from? And how is it doing so?

As you can see, the very beginning of our existence wasn’t the Big Bang. The very beginning of our existence was at the very beginning of the universe, zillions and zillions of years ago. Big Bangs are happening even now and from the very first time that there was one, it was bound that there would be more, because the elements creating matter would just continue creating it, millions, billions, even trillions of years later. Yet one had nothing to do with the other. This matter was an individual product of their own; in other ways; they formed individually. I doubt that there is one planet exactly like the other or one galaxy exactly like another. Maybe similar, but not the same and it would contain different elements, considering time, space and positioning. In other words, big bang happens because pressure is formed in that part of the universe, created by elements that form that part of the universe.

Scientists are coming out with more and more theories. But all their theories can only give us an idea of how it might have been. And every time a new theory comes out, we’ll assume that this is probably the way it was. In other words we will always just speculate our beginning.

So, let’s do exactly that: Scientists aren’t the only ones capable of reasoning our existence. Man has been doing it since they first gained the ability to reason. And if it is for theorizing or speculations, well, they don’t have the monopoly on those either. We can all do this.

Stop for a moment and get your own picture, without taking into consideration someone else’s. Get your own conclusion of how we came to be.

•   No Bible.

•   No Carl Sagan.

•   No Stephen Hawking.

•   No Newton.

•   No Columbus.

•   And certainly no ‘anyone else.’

I want to believe that you are capable of imagining your own picture of how it was at the very beginning, unless you’re either too lazy to do so, or a coward, afraid of the repercussions if you try to create your own idea and to just use someone else’s.

Well; I will give you mine, and maybe it will help you to create your own. Or you could try to understand mine and then you and I can agree on something.

I will not explain in depth, but I will try to illustrate it casually and briefly, and then we will go a little deeper in the next chapter. And I say little because all this information is already out there, and you can check all these out.

I already mentioned the Big Bang. First; there had to be space, and for space to exist there had to be elements to create this space and its’ contents. Now, billions of years later, after the Big Bang, we have galaxies, stars, asteroids, comets, and planets.

But, what kind of matter was it that made the big bang? Was it in a form of asteroid or was it like a planet, or was it like a comet and what made it explode? Because: of its inside pressure? Or: the outside pressure? And keep this in mind; this was the first solid chunk of matter been formed for the first time in the entire Universe, in other words it was the lone ranger of the Universe, planet, asteroid, or a galaxy, whatever it was but it had to be the first one. As it had to be the first molecule, and as at the same time as matter was been formed with the initial elements and of course this too we do not know witch elements were the first elements to appear; to create the space as space first and then capable to multiply and diversify at the same time, and also at the same time travel at greater speeds, and at the same time creating expansion, all at the same time, so, there could be enough room, for later to make an explosion the big bang theory and at the same time, setting up the conditions; so one day, could be billions of galaxies. Even as you read this book, everything still is been created at the same time throughout the Universe, including the expansion.

A few billion years later, we start seeing atmospheric conditions in every part of each galaxy, and each galaxy forming its’ own atmosphere, it’s own gravity within the existing gravity in the Universe. At the same time within these galaxies each planet immediately created or been created began forming their own atmospheric conditions, according to which position where they formed themselves in that galaxy, and where that galaxy formed within the Universe.

Keep in mind this very important factor; while all these galaxies and stars are been created, the Universe keeps on creating more elements, for more space, more black holes, more galaxies, and more planets. At this very moment more and more are been created, and chances are; they are been created at a faster speed, considering the already existence of many elements in the Universe.

The Universe was capable of creating itself out of nothing, now that there are enough existent elements, it should be creating it faster and bigger.

Let’s continue:

Billions of years later the atmospheric conditions become much clearer, some planets will have more concentrations of sulfuric gases, some will have more ice molecules, and some will have more oxygen, more helium, and so on.

We’ll jump to Earth this time. Billions of years more, our atmospheric conditions become clear enough; so clear, that there will be life human life in every sense and form.

Before we continue…

All of us have the ability to imagine. It is through this imagination that we start reasoning.

So now that you understand that, you have no excuse… Because in every chapter of this book you are going to do that, imagine and then reason. Imagine and then reason. Imagine and then reason… Because this book is not about science or creation or anything else that is already out there. So, I’m not going to explain every quotation or phrases every time they come up, push yourself harder and hopefully by the end of this book we will come to the same conclusions. PEACE

Let’s continue:

Way beyond the Mesozoic Era, 265 million years ago, life as we know it did not start in this Era, so it must have started many hundreds of billions of years before, because in the Mesozoic Era there were already plants, trees, flowers, insects, animals and so on. And for the atmospheric conditions to create life in every sense and shape and form it took billions and billions of years. Right at the same time, as our galaxy positions itself on this part of the Universe it had all the elements it would take to produce all these different kinds of life.

And this is the hardest part for humans to comprehend: time—and the process of time become almost impossible to understand. Or the process of photosynthesis or the processes of any other organism you might want to choose to understand.

Of course: It’s hard enough to understand your own fucking life, how are you going to take time and reason of how the beginning might have been? Or how one molecule became to be the Universe? So, you are better off believing what others say. It’s much easier to accept someone else’s opinion and be done with it. But what we have in front of us now, it’s not an opinion it’s a logical understanding that we are capable to reason by ourselves. It’s possible to do this, and when we finally do it, we will be able to understand the true power within us.

You already understand photosynthesis, molecules, organisms, protons and so on. More importantly, you understand atmosphere or atmospheric conditions, cold, hot, humid, dry, sunny, dark, and so on.

As these conditions were developing in our universe, it began to develop more obviously on our planet, Earth. You already understand the rotation of the planets, including Earth, so you will have no trouble understanding the following:

Millions and millions of years ago, way before the Mesozoic Era, at the very, very beginning, the molecules start getting together to create life, and according to the atmospheric conditions of that part of the planet, life starts becoming apparent.

Let me explain it this way:

Gold, everybody has heard of or knows of Gold. Gold exists all over the world, in some places more than in others. For Gold to exist in all these places, the necessary elements to create gold had to already be there. And through atmospheric conditioning, external and internal, these elements became Gold, or Iron, or any other metal known to us. All these metals did not come from one single location and one single element then get redistributed internally throughout the planet.

Much, much later; oil; oil is supposedly formed from fossil. Fossil fuels are fuels formed by natural processes such as anaerobic decomposition of burry dead organisms. The age of the organism and their resulting fossil fuels is typically millions of years and sometimes exceeds 650 million years.

If it took 650 million years for the Dinosaurs to become fossil fuel

How many millions of years did it take to become Dinosaurs?

And; if the Dinosaurs disappeared because of an asteroid, how come, we have fossil fuels just about all over the World?

It is the same with natural gas. It took many millions of years for the marsh, wetlands, and swamps to become natural gas. How many millions of years did it take to become marsh, wetlands, or swamps?

This wasn’t hard to understand, was it? Well, the same thing happened for everything else, including us. Diamonds, Emeralds, Rubies, Sapphires; you will find these elements throughout the planet, some already formed in beautiful gems and some still developing. Some come out imperfect, but they would have gone on to become beautiful gems after millions and millions of years if they were left alone under the earth.

Plants were the same. Flowers were the same. All pine trees did not come from one pine tree, and all orchids did not come from one orchid. They might all have different colors and shapes, but they have very much the same elements that it takes to be an orchid.

Animals and insects are exactly the same as well. There are earth worms all over the world; they might look different, but they have some of the same elements that are needed to be considered a worm.

Do you think that all the chickens, monkeys, dogs, and etc. came out from a single animal? No! They did not. And it was the same with human beings. We’ll analyze this in the next chapter.

Chapter Two

Evolution

Evolution is not a theory, it is a fact. Nothing that you see or do not see today will be the same tomorrow!

From the very moment of creation becomes a past: because there had to be a beginning, in some way and at some time, zillions and zillions of years ago; we may never know when, but one day we will understand how.

If you are not able to understand the past you will be incapable of understanding the future.

Everything has a past, whether you understand it or not, even a newborn child. From the moment he comes out of his mother’s womb, he has a past, from then until the day he dies. And after he dies he becomes entirely past.

For the past to exist there had to be a process of time, or time that has evolved. That process of time is what is called evolution and once you understand this, that there is evolution in everything you see and do not see it becomes a fact. And at that moment theory disappears. Now, did you need to be a scientist to understand this? I don’t think so. But just in case, just in case you still choose to be a moron, look, do not go anyplace else, just look. Look at yourself and see how you have been evolving. Even at this very second you are changing (evolving) in every shape and form, hope that you understand this; because it’s easy, don’t wait until you are about to die and wonder where the fuck your entire life went! If you are truly a moron, force yourself a bit because we are going to go back to the past, a few billion years past. Once you are ready to understand it, I will take you to the future… In other chapters, that is. So by the time you’re done with this book, even if you’re a moron, you will be able to understand how easy it is for us all to live in peace.

I recall mentioning the Mesozoic Era, 250 to 265 million years ago. We know and understand that there must have been some kind of life on this era as well as before. But; how do we do the before, when we can hardly understand 10,000 years past and we completely forgot just 5,000 or 2,000 years ago? What about the middle ages and dark ages, the Renaissance or Victorian Era and that was not long ago or; as of recent, the fifties, sixties, seventies or even eighties?

This is how you elect crooked politicians over and over, because you choose to forget. But, let’s do politics in another chapter.

Now:

For anything to take shape and form takes time. Everything in life is a process. Life itself is a process. A doctor, teacher, or lawyer takes time to become one. The only difference here is that they have that choice. In Universal terms, there is no choice of how everything comes to be. The chicken did not choose to be a chicken. Nor did the pig, cow, lion, etc. The pine tree did not have a choice to become a pine tree, and neither did the rose or any other flower. They became what or who they are because of the compounding elements on which they found themselves, as elements first and atmospheric conditions second. To create their existence it would take millions and millions of years.

Gold itself did not have a choice either. Gold did not choose to become Gold, or any other metals, or crystals, or Diamonds and when they arrived in this part of the Universe, I don’t think they came as what they are now. But instead it took millions and millions of years to become what they are.

The easiest way to understand this would be through general knowledge: The most common would be petrified wood. It takes millions of years to become a mineral of some sort. Some become agates, some become opals, and of course while this process is happening, other elements are becoming part of this wood. And through these conditions and atmospheric positioning, they will become something other than what they were before, or it might just start a process to create a new life for a completely different kind of plant altogether. We just won’t be here to see it. We do not live long enough to know and remember and see that this was the tree that became an agate and this tree used to be in front of my house… And because we do not see this process, we rely on scientists to research or spend lifetimes trying to figure things out.
