This book reminds us not to think only about ourselves or only our families but also people around our lives. I encouraged everyone to have a heart and feelings or to take some better actions in order to help bringing changes in someone's life.

I am Murei Ndivhudzannyi Emmanuel Talifhani. I was born in South Africa, Limpopo Province, Thohoyandou (Tshivhilwi Village). I attended school at Tshivhilwi Primary School then proceeded to Thinashaka Secondary School. My tertiary studies were in the engineering field, and I’m currently working under the same field. I’m the third born from my mother, out of five children, and I’m the fourth born from my late father, who is survived by two wives and eleven children. I’m a married man with a happy family (Rhoda, my wife, and our son). I’m a Christian who is fellowshipping at Tshivhilwi Zion Apostolic Old Mission Church under Pastor TM Gangazhe. This is my first book to write after recording many videos about the messages. I’m currently looking forward to write other books under the will of God. I went through many different situations in life where I've seen God's love and grace. With my reliability to him, I have learned and experienced that his love will never fail. I have a path through the valleys and mountains of life’s challenges and problems. My eyes were like the fountains of tears throughout my life even though I'm not that much old. I lost hope and faith in life along the way, but his love made me to regain all. God whispered to me to write all my experiences in a form of a book. With all necessary support from different people and their guidance, I have managed to do so. This is my first book, which I expect people to be blessed and to enjoy when they will be reading it.

CHAPTER 1

WHERE IS YOUR BROTHER?

Genesis 4: 6-10

Where is your brother? God once asked Cain this question after he had killed and buried his brother. As a person, I may ask myself why God asked Cain such a question even though He knew what really happened and that He knows all what happens before anyone knows. The answer is He wanted to see if Cain was going to be honest to Him. He wanted to see if Cain would regret for what he had done, if Cain would show God any remorse. That’s why God did not start by announcing Cain’s curse, but He started by a question, an explanation & then the punishment/curse. God knew that He gave Cain the blessing of being a great farmer. But after what he had done, he received a curse that did not allow him to use his gift anymore. It is true that when everyone reads this story of Cain, he/she just feels that the punishment that Cain received was not enough, because in addition of that he spent his life assured that no one will kill him. Based on what he had done, we can say that this man was too cruel and that is the truth. Allow me to tell you that these days’ people are committing sins that are more serious than this. If we were able to read people’s mind we may very well be very surprised to see how many people are busy putting their brothers and sisters into death traps. For Cain it was even better because his jealousy was visible.

Nowadays you and I are taking our brothers to the bush while we are smiling every day. We give everything we can to get them closer to us for the sake of our evil plans. Above all, we think that God is not seeing us. This all happens when we are possessed by the devil because he deceive us to an extent that we forget the records of all the good that God has done for us. Cain never thought of the love that God showed him when He gave him the gift of producing from the soil. I was still talking about those who are still planning and those who are busy. Now, let me talk about those who have just finished their mission, those who have killed already, and those who have ignored already. If we were to ask how many people have put their brothers or sisters down into the ground, we will find that the number is numerous. Some people are suffering now as a result of this. But those who have done the killing are living a good life outside prison. Someone was dismissed from work, some property was stolen, so many evil things are happening because of this. But check those who were found guilty are the innocent ones, those who are in prisons are the innocent ones. Just to give an example, how many men are in prison today because of false rape? Some were made to be suspect because they were poor; they couldn’t afford these high rates of lawyers.

Nevertheless God is an honest judge, no matter how much money we have paid to cover our evils, in front of God you have paid nothing to prevent you from escaping His punishment. Our God knows exactly what you have done and what you are planning right now. Right now God is asking you the same question that He asked Cain. The painful part is that you are still answering like Cain, trying to take cover from God. Don’t you know that God knows everything, when He asks: Where is your brother?

You are afraid to say he is in prison

You are afraid to say that he is underground. You are afraid that to say that he is suffering.

You are afraid to say that he is somewhere but not educated.

You are afraid to say that he is your slave.

We are doing our best to hide our faces, our names, our characters, for the sake of protecting our dignity & profession, but we didn’t think like that before we made a mess. Just know that if you don’t go to Him and renounce all your sins so that He can announce the forgiveness of your sins, your sins will remain and not go away. There He will be; the one who will explain everything to you. Asking you, giving you a chance to regret and ask you if you want forgiveness. If your pride doesn’t allow you to respect God and tell Him your sins, then He will start to explain everything that you have done. After the explanation He is going to announce a curse on you. You may try to negotiate, but because you didn’t use your given chance, everything will go according to His planned curse or punishment towards you.

We might say that we are clean, that we have never done an evil thing in our lives. Just because we can’t remember ourselves committing such sins directly or physically. I am now giving a chance to my brothers and sisters to take time to look around their lives and reflect. Most of us will find that it may be true that we hadn’t done anything wrong but we may have had an influence.

•  We have seen many falling into a trap and kept quiet.

•  We have seen many digging their own graves and said nothing.

•  We have seen the devil putting traps and said nothing.

Then who is the killer? We are because we saw and did not act, maybe we didn’t act because of our many reasons, but that is not important, the fact is we are the killers. We are still going to be asked the same question that Cain was asked. We will have to explain in detail. We must put our pride down and explain everything in detail, without fear of losing anything. Otherwise if we don’t do that, God will explain and announce a curse upon us. I know many of us by now are scared but this is a good opportunity to explain to God. As you can hear the voice talking to you right now, it means it is your chance to explain. It doesn’t matter how evil your sins are. Give a different answer from Cain’s then you will be treated differently. God likes an honest person, God want us to tell Him the truth, and then He will forgive us.

It is time that we acknowledge that we are guilty of many things; Things that we are not even aware of. It is the time to tell the truth. Let us accept that we are sinners before God announces a curse. He is ready to forgive, that is why He sent His only beloved son for the sake of our sins. The very same sin that we are trying to hide from God, Christ died on the cross because of it, His innocent blood was shed. Let’s change our lives and try to repair our damages if possible. Let us allow the Holy Spirit to dwell within us, so that the inner man may always be free. Now, the inner man is not free because secrets are living within him. The inner man can hear the voice loud and clear saying to him: Where is your brother?

You might be trying to drug yourself so that you may forget but the question is not going. You can hear the voice from anywhere.

•  Stop running away.

•  Stop lying.

•  Stop asking unnecessary questions.

•  Stop paying money to hide your sins.

•  Stop spreading the wrong rumours to mislead the police.

•  You are just wasting your time. The solution is to explain. Remember, God doesn’t have time to be asking you the same question.

•  Explain and ask for forgiveness:

•  Some of us know that we robbed someone to get the job.

•  We know that we robbed some families their belongings.

Someone was betrayed for us to gain favour. Someone was killed for us to gain our riches. Some are being hated for nothing.

•  Some are serving a sentence in prison. Many evil things happened.

We are the only ones who know everything. Yes it is our time to answer the question right now. Explain and ask for forgiveness. Yes He is ready to forgive.

CHAPTER 2

THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD

Psalm 23

John 10: 7-16

John 10: 1-5

Many of us know exactly how a shepherd’s work is like. Being a shepherd is to be fully responsible for the day to day life of the livestock. Which means a shepherd is the only person who can tell us more about the lives of animals, including their behaviour. These animals can be goats, sheep or cattle. The day to day responsibility of a shepherd is the following:

•  A shepherd is responsible for opening and closing of the kraal. He knows exactly when is the right time to open and close.

•  A shepherd is the one who takes care of the livestock around the kraal. This is all about the safety of the animals. If there is space or a hole on the path where the animals are walking or grazing on that can prove to be dangerous to the animals, he is the one who makes sure that the place is fixed with an immediate effect because he is the minister of security.

•  A shepherd is the one who treat the animals if there are some injured. If it is beyond his control he can even report to the owner to take the level of healing to a higher position.

•  A shepherd is the one who protects or fights for the animals while they are in the bush. Just like David, when he testified to the king that he had killed a bear and a lion for the protection of his father’s animals. This is exactly how each and every shepherd should do for the sake of the animals. Just because he didn’t want any of the livestock to get hurt by dangerous animals, he put his life at risk.

•  A shepherd is the one who guides the animals not to go to dangerous places, for example, people’s farm, roads and railway lines. Even though some places seem to be good in our eyes, just like green maize in someone’s farm. But because a shepherd knows the exact danger, he will do his best to take the animals away from there. Even if it means to beat them with stick, he will do so to take them out.

•  A shepherd will never allow the animals to get lost. To tell you the truth, a shepherd can count the animals more than five times a day. The reason is that he doesn’t want even one of the animals to get lost. He can go around the bush even if only one animal is missing.

I have tried to explain the above so that you must have a full understanding of why David wrote the Psalm 23 and said THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD. Remember David was such an experienced shepherd. He didn’t choose some kings to be his shepherd; he didn’t choose some relatives to be his shepherd. He proudly said the Lord; only the Lord is his shepherd.

I must wait for Jehovah my shepherd to come during His time. I must be patient, I must have faith that one day He will come and open a door of His blessings. Your situation and life can be hard, just like cows, sheep and goats in the kraal but never lose hope that a shepherd will come.

There are many things that you might be looking for & not receiving them during your time expectation, but behold; Jehovah is coming to open His blessings. Your plans can seem to be delayed, but you must never lose hope on our shepherd because we don’t know our destination, He is the one who knows. We don’t know the greener pasture, but He is the one who knows. He has a plan for our lives and He keeps this plan secret from us. I must put all my hope and trust in my shepherd.

You and I are the animals, we have a shepherd who is reliable than anyone in this world. We must not try to control ourselves or to do as we like. We know we have failed in many cases but we are still pretending as we can succeed on by our own. We really know that we don’t have enough power. We get lost in many cases; we lost many things by not having a proper guide. Our tears flowed like streams. Jehovah said we should not be afraid under His leadership. He gave up His life for us to be saved all the time. Maybe we have been the shepherds, you and I, in different places at different ages or maybe we have seen some people being shepherds. From my experience of being a shepherd, I don’t remember even a single day where I said I would put my life down for the sake of animals. I have never walked in front of animals because I was not ready to die for the animals. I was a fearful shepherd who even ran away from a snake and left all the animals in the same place with the snake. This simply means that I was not a reliable shepherd. Do you see how lucky we are, we have a shepherd who is ready to take all our worries. He said we should give Him all our worries. He said we should not be afraid of anything, He meant everything; trouble, lions, strike, prison. He said fear not, because He is always with us. When we sleep, we must sleep like children, who fear nothing at all times. Because we know that our Lord does not sleep nor slumber, His promise is to give us fresh things. He will not lead us to contaminated water. When we are tired spiritually and physically He promises to give us rest on special green places. How many people are trying to look for a better place to rest but they can’t get one? Some end up putting themselves into trouble and end up not getting any rest.

The major problem with us is not choosing the right shepherd. We must know that Jehovah is an irreplaceable shepherd. In His absence we perish. We must never run away from the shepherd. We must never fight our shepherd. We must always have a good communication with our shepherd. In other words I’m saying we must always pray without ceasing. We must listen to our shepherd; He tells us the right way, He will guide us by His voice all the time. When we see what He has done for us we must thank Him and we must praise Him. When we see all the dead snakes, lions and all the dangerous animals, it means He is working for us, He is protecting us, He is fighting for us, so give thanks to Him. He deserves the praise. When we seek His security, we must come closer to Him. Even though our shepherd is walking in front of us so that we can follow Him, I know that the devil is still coming with tricks to pull us back, tricks to let us forget that we have a shepherd. The tricks to let us loose focus from our shepherd. Don’t be behind, the more you are behind the greater the risk of being snatched by the devil is too high because he operates from the back. He doesn’t want us to be next to our God. Let’s draw ourselves closer to God, by different kinds of prayers, unlimited love. We must always have faith in our shepherd. He said His thinking is not to hurt us but to protect us all the time.

CHAPTER 3

TURNING TO JESUS

Acts 3: 19, 20

When we say a person has turned, we are simply saying that a person has changed direction. This is referred to a complete change of direction which is 180 degrees. It means wherever I was supposed to walk, my destination will change completely. My target of the trip will change. My trip planning will change. Where I was supposed to get
