Valerie Alexander is a musician, spiritual leader, prayer warrier and a woman of faith. Believing in miracles of hope, miracles of life and miracles of healing, she currently resides in the central part of Illinois, USA. PREFACE

W hen my youngest daughter was eight years old, and my oldest was twenty one, there was a snapshot of us taken. It was this candid shot that began the inspiration for this book. I decided to frame it as a black and white, to give as a Christmas gift. Today, seven years later, I find myself looking at this photo, reading the inscription I wrote on the matting surrounding the print.

For a long time, I thought about writing a book. I never thought it would come to pass. Well…I guess…I don’t think of myself as a writer. I sing. I’ve been singing since I was a little girl. Over the course of my life, God’s blessings came in the form of miracles.

Miracles happened, in my professional and personal life. Miracles that tell a story, the story of a journey, my journey. It’s become a journey of faith…a journey of prayer…and a journey of hope. It was His answers to prayer in miraculous ways that encouraged me to write this book. God has spoken to my heart, confirming that it is His hand…His grace…and His leading that…paved the way.

I ask the Lord for His help in writing.

Dear Jesus,

I write this book for you, oh Lord. May it be pleasing in your sight. May God use the words on the pages that follow for His glory.
