About this ebook
God said let us make man in our image and in our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the heavens, over the livestock and over all the earth and everything that creeps on the earth. (KJV)
This verse sets the stage for the entire context of this book, as it lays the foundational truth about who you area winner! Whether you feel like one, look like one, or act like one now is irrelevant. The most important factor is to see how God made youjust like Him. In His image and likeness, and with His characteristics and nature. Heres the good news: God is a winner, thus YOU have been predetermined and designed to win in life as well.
Over recent years, there has been a paradigm shift in the Church concerning these truths. More and more Christian leaders have begun to acknowledge this biblical understanding of ruling as kings in this life, as taught by Jesus Himself.
With this understanding, can you begin to see Gods original intent for humanity? It is His will for you to win in life! Now, its time for you to live in this same victory and dominionjust as God intended you to live. Together, we can become the winners God has designed us to be. You have been CREATED TO WIN!

Book Dedication: Created to Win by Tony Foster
I am honored to dedicate this book to my lovely wife, Joanie Foster. She has encouraged, supported and inspired me to be all that God has called me to be. She is my partner in marriage, parenthood, ministry, and in life. A powerful woman of God in her own right, Joanie has been by my side for 19 years of marriage and continues to amaze me with her passion, wisdom, love and sense of humor. This book is the result of God and Joanie pushing me to birth that which God purposed me to produce before the foundations of the world. I am grateful that God created you just for me so that we can win in life together. I love you Joanie.
Preface
Life is full of questions. Thoughts like: Which profession will I pursue? Where will I attend school? Who will I marry? How many children will I have? These are just a few of the questions which live in our minds throughout life. With all of these, and thousands more, continuously roaming through our heads, there is one question which I believe everyone has or will contemplate during some period of life. It’s simply this:
What does it mean to win in life?
It seems that if you were to ask 100 different people this question, you would probably receive 100 different responses. Some would say that monetary gain equals winning. Others would argue that having a great family is the guarantee of success. Still, some might defend that your contributions to society determine if you win.
One hundred people, one hundred answers.
Over the last twenty-five years, I have been researching and studying the dynamics of human development and behavior. One of the reasons for my quest has been to find the answers to questions I have struggled with myself. Things such as who am I? Why am I here? What is my purpose? And how do I win and succeed in life? These have always been in the forefront of my conscienceness as I’m sure they have been for countless millions of others, maybe even you. As a matter of fact, if you’re reading this book, there is a good chance you have struggled with the same questions. That’s not a bad thing. In fact, I believe what lies within the following pages can shed great light on the subject.
The purpose of this book is to help you discover a biblical perspective about winning in life. Genesis 1:26 reads:
God said let us make man in our image and in our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the heavens, over the livestock and over all the earth and everything that creeps on the earth.
(KJV)
This verse sets the stage for the entire context of this book, as it lays the foundational truth about who you are—a winner! Whether you feel like one, look like one, or act like one now is irrelevant. The most important factor is to see how God made you—just like Him. In His image and likeness, and with His characteristics and nature. Here’s the good news: God is a winner, thus YOU have been predetermined and designed to win in life as well.
Not only did God create you in His likeness, he also gave you dominion in this life. The original Hebrew text of the word dominion
means to rule; sovereignty; to reign; kingdom; master; to be a king; royal ruler; and kingly. In short, the God and Master of the universe has given Mankind the capacity to be just like Him—a ruler and a king. Revelation 17:14 says it this way:
"These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings…" (KJV).
John the revelator was talking about Jesus, the Lamb of God, in this scripture. But, take notice of the phrases Lord of lords
and King of kings.
For years, Christians have quoted this scripture without really understanding its full context. A little examination will bring great revelation to what John was saying.
Notice the two words, King and kings, and Lord and lords. Jesus is the King (capital K), but the kings referred to in this verse isn’t capitalized. The same is true with Lord and lords. Jesus is ultimate King and Lord, but who
