I was raised in Gambia, West Africa on May 15 1991. I move with my elder sister to the United States of America in Anchorage Alaska to join our parents here in April of 2007. I came from a typical Africa traditional family in my both side of the family, who value tradition and culture very much. I'm the third child of the nine children. I graduate from Bartlett High in Anchorage AK in May of 2010 that same year I attend University of Alaska Anchorage for two years, now I currently enrolled in Grand Canyon University.

Chapter 1
The long journey my family and I took from our homeland in West Africa, a land that welcome everybody and land that is full of cultures, traditions, languages, more food recipes than any countries in the world and unique African music, more dance styles that speak for itself and the land that
is full of traditions and cultures and wonderful spirits of the African peoples, with their tradition. And the land that I’m very proud to call home. I’m very blessed to be an African born and race in Africa that provided me with different tools to survive anywhere in the world and with more experience in life and also to see the different side of life the good, bad and the worsen kind, such as poverty and diseases that control people’s lives due to poverty and diseases the impact it cost and the affected it makes in African people’s lives. I have seen so many dangerous, bad and sad things in my fellow African peoples’ faces and the sufferings they’re go through, dealing with every day of their lives such as not having shelters to leave in or have the opportunities to attend school like my sliders and I did, or have a good clothing to wear, or food to eat, or clear drinking water, or have the basic medical assistant, or have healthy environments to leave in and everyday hearing, seeing children dying in Africa and other countries who are affected by poverty all over the world. Those are the harder things I have to see, face, and deal with because the people that I love and care about seeing them go through that hardest thing in life. I feel hopeless and helpless to help them and it’s very hard for me because I try harder to make a difference in my fellow African people’s lives but no matter how much I try I never get close to help them beside all that I never give up and I wouldn’t until the day I die because I don’t have all the resource or the tools available to me to make those passions I have for my African people possible that make me want to try harder and I to make it possible. Even that every day I felt helpless, powerless and useless to make a differences to both African children and adults to find a cure for the sick and dying children and help adults in need not only in Africa but around the world because I’m very hurt and heartbreak to hear and see everyday what is going on in the world and a large number of people dying both children and adults around the world not only in Africa, those are something’s that I want to decrease those large numbers due to poverty, wars, diseases etc. and try to give those people something to hold on to and look forward too because most of those things are cost by poverty, different diseases many kind of wars etc those are some of the things that I have seeing and experiences many more of that kind of things through my African people’s lives and those experiences are something that remind me every walking moment of my life and it makes me work even harder every day so that I can achieve the passion I have for my African people and others to someday put those passions into play and those experiences and memories that I had to make a differences and those are something that will stay with me for the rest of My life. Because those are the things that make me want to work very hard every day of my life and also dream it every day so that someday I will be able to free and end all of those people who are the sufferings around thee world. It’s a promise I make to myself that someday I will make a differences in African people’s and also others lives because I have this desire since I was in Africa my homeland to make a differences in others lives around the world, those promise I meat to myself that is what drive me to reach my goals and mark in the world to make a differences in others lives someday. My friends tend to think I’m crazy or I’m losing my mind but I take my mission and goals very importantly because the passion and dreams I have is something that not everyone will understand but for me it’s one of the very important things in my life and very special to me because is personal and is something I wanted to do since I was little I didn’t get the chance to Do until now. Those experiences that I had in Africa are something’s that money can’t buy. April of 2007 my father brought my sister and I to come to US to leave in the American dreams and to have different opportunities such as getting a good education, school and other resources that were not available to me back in Africa and I get to experience wonderful life United State has to offer, I just wish someday I can also give back those different opportunities that US has given me to my African people and also to share it with others around the world and also to use those experiences and skill to help and turn my African people’s lives to make it better and free them from poverty, and all the things they’re going through and end their sufferings with the tools and resources US has given me, some day I can get to share my American dream with others in need around world. I know now why people call it the American dream because America is a land that opens
different opportunities for people from different colors and
different races for a better future and hope for tomorrow. America is a land of freedom and a land that help people to believe that they can achieve whatever they wants in life and their passion are and also to help them follow and achieve their American dreams and goals that we individual have with "different opportunities for better lives for tomorrow and also America is a land of honor and courage and also to see the encouragement in every American eyes. My family and I are very thankful to be here in the United States today to follow our American dreams and goals we each have in our lives. Our America dream started here in Alaska the largest, coldest and snowing state in United State and however in the summer and wealthier clouding is kind of like but the different is that around the summer is get cold a lot and little sun sing while in the wealthier time it gets very cold and snows almost every day but that doesn’t stop people from enjoy the beautiful things and the cool outdoor activities Alaska has to offer.
There is one thing that I like love about living in Alaska that is a peaceful place and wonderful state to live in because Alaska is a place that you can focus on school, get a good job, be yourself and also be the person you want to be without been surrounded by drama or trouble or surrounded by a large crowed. Alaska has blessed me with so many wonderful friends in my life from teachers, coaches, to good friends to others. I have so much to be thankful for, my wonderful family, good friends, teaches coaches and others. I don’t know where my American dreams will take me tomorrow only god knows but I know one thing for sure is that god is great in so many ways and wherever life takes me tomorrow I will always to thankful for having the best life this world has to offer wonderful families, good friends, teachers, coaches, etc. The fun thing about living in Alaska is that there is a lot of wealthier activates and wonderful things to experiences in Alaska from mountain clouding to snow racing etc.
I was very bless to be living in Alaska the greatest land I love with my family and friends following my American dream with the love and support of wonderful parents, sisters, brothers, grandparents, uncles, aunts and the rest of my families and my friends back in Africa to here in the United State of America and also in Alaska. Most of the times when my other friend from other state and Europe ask me what state I do like to live in if I got the chance my answer always is Alaska and the funny thing about it is that living in Alaska has bless me with wonderful things but my friends ask me why I still want to live in Alaska because is cold but they would never understand my reason why I chose Alaska above other state, and also I get ask one question over and over again about where is Alaska and why is Alaska the most coldest state in almost all over the world, because of the Alaskan wealthier that is why others people tend to think that Alaska doesn’t have all the fun things other states has because Alaska is very cold but that is not the case most of the times.
Alaska is a fun state too and has so much to offer not only the cold wealthier or snow, but others don’t realize or know that Alaska is cool, fun and beautiful state but others wouldn’t know it until they live there and also I tend to tell my friends don’t always believe what others said about Alaska until you live or visit there people when I said stuff about Alaska they tend to think that I’m supporting Alaska because I live there but that is not the cast at all because people tend to go by what others said about a place or thing before their experiences it or visit there. I have come across so many people upstate who want to visit Alaska but they’re afraid of the cold Alaskan wealthier and the snowing others tend to tell them about Alaska. I tell people about the fact about Alaska is that Alaska is unique
