    Moving In

Joe, Mary, Sam and Molly lived in a huge city named Spencer Hill. It was a happy place there. Mary was a polite, young middle-aged women. She was thirty six years old. She lived with her two brave children’s. Their names were Molly and Sam. Molly was ten years old and Sam was twelve.

Sam had a small room. On the corner of his room, was a small bed with blue and red stripes. Opposite that, was a tiny table with a pen, pencil, rubber and ruler in the middle. Sam had a small desk lamp. He had a blue fan next to his window which was in between the table and the bed. He had a huge wardrobe beside the door. His walls were bright blue and his ceiling was dark blue. His bin, which was beside his wardrobe, was as grey as an elephants body.

Molly’s bedroom didn’t look like Sam’s. Her ceiling was pink and her walls were red and yellow. She had a small bed on the corner of her room. She also had a huge table where she kept her combs, nail varnish, perfume and a mirror.

They had a strong, forty two years old father named Joe. He was very excited, as he was getting a new job.

RING RING!!! RING RING!!! Went the noisy phone. Joe ran to it as he thought it was his new manager.

"Hello Sarah, I need to borrow your lipstick.

Remember you said you will lend it to me?" asked the lady on the phone.

    "Erm… I think you have

dialled the wrong number as my name is not ‘Sarah’," said Joe, wondering what she was talking about.

Oh and remember you said I will be able to come round your house and babysit Poppy? she asked, not listening to a word Joe said.

Annoyingly, Joe slammed the phone back.

RING RING!!! RING RING!!! The phone rang again.

If this is not my manager, said Joe, angrily. I will brake the phone into pieces.

    He picked up the phone.

Meanwhile, Sam and Molly were bored. They did not know what to do. So Sam politely asked:

Mother, can I and Molly please help pack the house?

Of course you can my sweethearts, go ahead. You can start off in your room by picking everything you want and putting it in this bag, said Mary, handing him a plastic bin bag. and, she went on Put all of the things you don’t want in a pile and at the end I will dump them into the dust bin, she said.

So Sam went into his room and started to arrange his toys. He wanted:

Ben the Dinosaur, Louie the Lion, three mini cool cars and his new remote-control car that he won in a fair.

Meanwhile, Molly was in her room picking all the things that she wanted, (like Sam).

She didn’t want too many toys as her birthday was coming up in two weeks. She only wanted Bunny Bop, Princess Polly and Loo-Loo the Fairy. She left out Rabbit Rowley and Ted the Teddy. After a few minutes, Joe ran into the dining room where his wife was packing up.

I have got good news for everyone! said Joe. Our new house will be a cottage near the woods.

Yay! exclaimed Sam and Molly, running into the dining room.

When do we go? When do we go? asked Sam.

Will we go today? asked Molly.

We will go as soon as the van comes. It will probably come tomorrow, answered Joe.

    What van, father? asked Sam.

A big white van will come to our house. They will put all of our things in it and they will take it to our cottage, Joe said politely.

    "Have you got all
