About this ebook
Cody McCandless
Cody McCandless grew up in Alabama as the first wave of Generation Y, an age of interruption filled with “real-life fictional” characters who cry to be written about. At age sixteen, an English teacher sparked a love of literature in him. His main interest became poetry with influences such as Edgar Alan Poe, Robert Frost, Emily Dickinson, and William Wordsworth. Cody has an inimitable view on life’s little nuances. He sees the irony and humor in all situations. Everyday characters amuse and inspire him to put pen to paper. Objects whisper their stories and nature reveals its secrets to him. Preserving his unique views on paper helps him make sense of this debacle we call life. Cody lives in Alabaster, Alabama with his dog Lucian. Over the years, a jaded, melancholy view found its way to his pages only to transform into something brighter by chance.
