Hopie the Hero: Great Principles for Young People

About this ebook
Hopie the Hero was written to let children know that they don't have to rescue someone from a burning building or do some other heroic act they see on television to be a hero. They can be a hero by obeying their parents, being kind to the new kid at school or church, listening to their teachers and not following the bad examples of others.
Charlotte is blessed to have been married to James Spencer for 47 years. They have three wonderful grown adult children and are blessed with eleven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. She sees the results of raising their children with the principles written in this book. They are wonderful adults and she is not saying they are perfect, nor ever made mistakes, but stood they on the promise in the Bible that says, Train up a child in the way they should go and when they are old they will not depart from it. The word works! She also thanks God for her wonderful grandmother Louisa who is in glory and her mother Doris Starks who both made sure she went to Sunday School to learn the principles of God.

Moral to these stories
Preface
My dear friends, I believe God gave me this little book to show children that being a hero is not just rescuing someone from a fire, or keeping someone from drowning or even being a recipient of a great award. A hero is anyone who tries to help others and deny him or herself of what they always want. Taking time out for someone else to help him or her through whatever they might be going through. I believe not only will your children enjoy this little snack book, but you will too. smiley.png
