Terry was born and raised in Texas. She taught school for many years. Her love of books and poetry began at an early age, when her grandmother gave her a book of nursery rhymes. She has pursued this love by sharing stories and books with her students, and now with her grandchildren. Terry also loves stamping, playing games, traveling, and spending time with loved ones. She is especially grateful to daughter Jami, her illustrator. She also wants to thank her daughter Jen, for her help in editing, and her sweet husband James, who supported her in every step of the creative process.
