Richard A. Ritter
Richard A. Ritter was born on March 16, 1965, in the suburbs of Toronto, Ontario Canada. He was born to immigrant parents who arrived in Canada in 1957. His father was German and mother was is from a small island in the west indies called St. Vincent. Growing up he loved and played all sports , as well as bodybuilding, and was surrounded by a loving family and lots of good friends. Richard graduated from high school in 1983, and worked at many different jobs until finally starting his plumbing apprenticeship in 1988. After completing his apprenticeship he worked on many big projects in the city of Toronto, and also ran a successful plumbing business. In 2010 he became a plumbing professor at a large college, and taught many great students. Richard is the father to 4 children and now resides lakeside in central Ontario, Canada.

6 am the morning after Thanksgiving 1988 and I am about to embark on a life changing and challenging new career at the age of 23.
Have to be at the shop in Woodbridge by 7 am sharp, a one hour drive. Fire up the camero Z28 and as I do I cant help but chuckle, the boys at the shop are going to love me right off the get go, all I need is a garter belt hanging off my rear view and I’m in.
Arrive at the shop with minutes to spare, thanks to a great car that made it very hard to drive the speed limit, man I miss that car. Upon arriving I could feel the anxiety starting to rise, three deep breaths and I was able to keep it at bay.
The second I opened the door to the shop I felt like I was truly entering another world. Men were running around yelling at each other frantically loading pipes and boxes into vans like it was some kind of a race. No one paid any attention to me, it was like being on an island alone, I felt so alienated, a feeling I was not used to. After about a half hour of that a short man with piercing blue eyes and a finely groomed beard came over to me and said You!
