About this ebook

Feelings are precious and treasures to be valued. I am passionate about children and their feelings. This book is about one of the most important feelingskindness. When I was growing up in Alabama, some older girls bullied me one night and I went home in tears. My mothers philosophy was Pour blessings over them. She didnt know this had a biblical basis. In 1 Peter 3:89, Paul says, Do not repay evil for evil, but blessings for blessings so that you will inherit a blessing.

Hopefully, this will work for your family.

The Blessing Tree introduces children four years of age through second grade to the concept of kindness rather than bullying. They are never too young to learn.

The main character in the book is Woody, the Blessing Tree. The children learn how he gets his name and the process he goes through to get his name. It is my desire that this book will teach children to use kind words instead of mean words. This is an endeavor to point out that they have a voice and can use it.
